[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddos are night sweaters that love blankets. It leds to smelly blankets and sheets fast, especially when the dog joins them for the night. I tried these hesitantly, but oh man did they work! The freshness just didn't stop! They smelled great and nearly a week later the blankets (especially that old ratty one that is my youngest's favorite) still smell great! They've helped fight off smells throughout the day or night and I absolutely love these!

Downy Fresh Protect works, your clothes will smell fresh and just a bit flowery. If the concept appeals to you, I'd say go for it as it is effective. However, I don't see this as a necessary product if you are already washing your clothes and especially if you use fabric softener, which already leaves behind a noticeable scent. It's advertised as deodorant for your clothes - have you ever really thought you needed that? This product is mostly useful for making YOU notice how your clothes smell, since we're pretty accustomed to our usual detergent/softener scent. Overall, it's just another thing to spend money on considering it doesn't replace detergent. Important to note that I received this product complimentary from Influenster, but all my opinions are my own, clearly.

Every once and a while I would get a whiff of the scent and it reminded me of cozy, warm laundry fresh from the dryer. I will be buying these again.

I used the Downy Fresh Protect beads today and my clothes smell amazing. I could litterally smell them all day. These little beads made such a differnce in my laundry. It actually made my whole house smell so good. I got my Downy Fresh Protect Beads free but i would highly recommend purchasing this product.

I've always been a fan of Downy, and this product is no different. I threw these in-wash odor shield beads in with my laundry and noticed a wonderful difference right away. I live in New Orleans, where the climate is extremely hot and humid in the summer, so my clothes can get a little smelly, especially if I'm outside all day. This really helped my clothes smell fresh again and stay smelling fresh. I received a sample for reviewing purposes, but this review is completely honest. I'll be buying some more of this stuff soon!

I really do like these beads I had not tried this brand of them before but I think they worked great. This fragrance is not my fave but at least it is fresh. I did get samples of these for free, but all opinions are your own. I really do like these they are mess free.

I super loved my Downy Fresh Protect. It gave my clothes an added fresh scent that wasn't overpowering. Its easy to use, just toss in the washer and continue your wash. There's no residual left over on your clothing, or linens, and my clothes smell absolutely amazing. The odors were not only neutralized, in my opinion they were gone.I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free but all opinions are mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Downy April Fresh liquid and dryer sheet fabric softener my whole life. So, I am a HUGE fan of the brand. Unfortunately, I was not a fan of the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist. I thought the beads themselves were very easy to use and did not create any mess. There were A LOT of beads in the sample packet and I was worried that they might not dissolve all the way. All of the beads did dissolve and there was no mess left behind in my washing machine. What I did not care for was the scent. It was very overpowering. Even my husband, who is not always the most observant, wrinkled his nose and said, "What is that smell?".
