[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a chance to try Downy® Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield this past laundry day and I absolutely loved it. Downy® Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield has to be hands down, the best invention for laundry. My laundry smelled so good when it was done washing, the smell is not to overpowering, yet potent enough to notice and it kept the outfit I wore that day smelling so good all day long, even when I went to wash it again, the smell was still noticeable. I'm someone that likes to use different products for my laundry that will make my laundry smell good and keep the smell lasting and Downy® Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield did just that and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this product to everyone, you will not be disappointed.

I tried these in a load of towels I was washing. I was worried they'd clog the washer but they didn't. When I smelled them after the dryer, it was t very strong. So the longer lasting scent, didn't last very long at all. I did try this product for free, but I'm not being paid for my review. Perhaps my load was too bulky for just one pack. I'm willing to try it again

Downy fresh protect I love this product. It has made my laundry smell wonderful. It's super easy to add to my laundry routine. I just toss it in the wash and my cloths stay smelling so good. I can smell a huge difference in my clothes. Especially my workout clothes which is a plus! I was sent Downy Fresh protect from influenster to test and try. This opinions are mine honest opinions.

First of all I love the April Fresh scent! As a runner, in always looking at ways to keep my gear smelling fresher as long as possible. Down Fresh Protect with febreze definitely helps with that challenge! I recieved this item for free for trains review purposes- but all opinions are my own (and I'll definitely get these again!)

Simply throw it in with your clothes at the beginning of your wash cycle, and be prepared for amazing smelling clothes all day long! I'm going to be purchasing this to keep on hand, since I get that murky water smell every once in awhile in my washer. This hides all smells, is not super expensive and can be found in most laundry aisles in most mass retailers. I found that it dissolves easily and leaves no residue on clothes.

I haven't used Downy April Fresh in years. It used to be my favorite but there was a change to the formula and I tried others. I decided to give it another go as I was tired of my current scent and bought these beads. Wow, they actually smell bad. I can't describe it, but it's toward the end of the scent, it's sort of sweet and sour, it's definitely not fresh.

So when they offered to let me try out laundry products, I jumped at the chance. With the hubs and 3 kids in the house, we go through a LOT of laundry and every free wash counts. And when I say a lot of laundry, I mean me and my husband work out everyday and work and go to ball games, so there's about six outfits a day. The eight year old has school and softball and jammies, so there's three more sets of clothes. The three year old has daycare and t-ball and jammies, so tack on another three outfits, and the two year old, well, what can I say? He's a two year old. My husband works in car sales, so he is outside all day, and, at least in Texas, say goodbye to spring showers and hello to hot humid summer day temps already. This equals stinky shirts, socks, and shoes at the end of a long day. I tried out the Downy Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield first. You put your detergent in first, then sprinkle the Downy in the bottom of the washer before you put the clothes in and start the washer. I made sure I washed one of the hub's shirts in there since he is outside all day, and it's been nice and muggy and hot outside. The clothes came out of the washer smelling nice. They came out of the dryer with a very soft, very subtle clean scent. The smell was not quite as strong as I usually prefer (I personally like to use a lot of the Downy Unstoppables and dryer bars), but nice nonetheless. That's the only reason I give the product four stars instead of five. The hub's shirt still smelled nice too when I gave him his welcome home hug after a long day at work in the sun. I can't say so much about the actual hubs himself, but at least the shirt still smelled clean... :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Downey Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist and wow the smell was amazing and it has lasted so long. It made my whole laundry room smell great. The clothes even better. I will for sure to be using this product over again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these were very easy to use, and they made out clothes come out smelling great. My husband even commented that his shirt smelled good like sweettarts. But I really don't see the point. My regular detergent already makes our clothes smell fine. Seems like an extra cost that I wouldn't be willing to pay for.

I had single packets & took them on our 10 day vacation as I knew we would do laundry. We love Downy anyways, but we loved this product. No mess! Will be purchasing in the future! I received this product for free to test, but the opinions are my own.
