I haven't used Downy April Fresh in years. It used to be my favorite but there was a change to the formula and I tried others. I decided to give it another go as I was tired of my current scent and bought these beads. Wow, they actually smell bad. I can't describe it, but it's toward the end of the scent, it's sort of sweet and sour, it's definitely not fresh.

*I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own. These helped quell the odor from sweat throughout a particularly active day--always appreciated, especially since I don't wear perfume at the gym. I don't know that I'd use these every day--but my yoga pants are *ahem* way less funky than normal. A neat product!

I grew up with Downy products so I was eager to try this new product. I am a fan of the April Fresh scent and how easy it is to use this product. My bed linen came out fresh smelling and with no weird residues that sometimes happen with fabric softener. The scent lasted wonderfully on the bed linens. I would purchase and recommend this product to my friends and family.

It left a mild but "clean" scent on the clothes (and in the washing machine, which was nice) which seemed to last pretty much all day. If you sniffed your clothes you could smell it, but it wasn't obvious to anyone not actually standing next to you and sniffing. So you're not gonna annoy your co-workers with it

I received this product for free to try out from influenster. I must say this was the best addition to my laundry routine. I didn't even use a whole pack per load as the instructions said but my close smell fresher than ever. Even clothes that I have worn and in my laundry hamper now waiting to be washed smell as if they just came out the dryer. I am definitely purchasing this item and adding it to my laundry routine

The scent was VERY strong, but soothing and great. My clothes not only smelled fantastic, but also feel softer than they have in a while, and even look cleaner! This is DEFINITELY a product that I will purchase in the future! I cannot believe i've gone this long without knowing about this product!!

Although I have used unstoppables religiously since they first debuted about 3 years ago, these are a pleasant new addition (in fact I bought a full size bottle within a week of trying these). I love my laundry to smell fresh for several days and these are the perfect pairing to your favorite tide detergent, it leaves blankets and sheets smelling fresh for over a week. I love the scent too!

I love how it smells and makes the room smell heavenly after doing laundry. Having that feeling of fresh laundry is unbeatable and I always feel clean after using these. I always get compliments that I smell good and people get surprised when I tell them it Downy. Definitely recommend this product. I tested this product for free but my opinions are my own!

I then put them in the closet with my other towels (that I had not used the product on) and I guess I can say that I have not noticed a difference between using the fresh protect and not using it.
