[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I've never used a scent booster before, so for people like myself it was hard to determine whether it replaced my detergent because it already had such a strong scent or if it had no cleaner in it and simply made it smell good. The sample package didn't say anywhere. When I finally used it, it smelled great and even made my house smell fresh. It didn't stay on the clothes through the dryer, though. I saved some beads and put them in a decorative vase I have as a different version of some potpourri... that works great!

I absolutely loved these little beads. I'm a bartender and certain smells can be tough to get out of your clothes and it can be tough to keep them smelling fresh, but Downy Fresh Protect did both. I have been using the Downy fresh protect beads with my regular laundry detergent as an added fragrance boost. This product completely eliminates any strong, stubborn odors and leaves your laundry smelling April fresh until the next wash. These little Downy beads really do work. My grandson had an accident in his swim suit....and I didn't think anything would get the smell out. I threw the Downy in at the beginning of the wash cycle with the detergent and when I took them out....they smelled clean and fresh! Amazing stuff! They smell great too! I got these as a free sample for testing, but this is 100% my own opinion.

I absolutely love this product. It made my clothes smell even more fresh and I like that I could put it in the wash before I added my clothes. I always forget to add fabric softener. Product is great,our clothes came out smelling fresh and softer. Me and my husband have a sensitive skin and I did not find this product irritating. Product is expensive but its worth it. Received this product from Influenster for free complimentary for testing purposes.

I love this product not only for my clothes but my home. It makes my clothes smell so great, then I took some and placed it in a oil burner and I was greeted with a wonderful smell. I received this product free for testing but all this is my own opinion.

Being an event planner, I am often outside-- either with clients or running and event. One thing I hate is when I go back into the office after a quick meeting outdoors and I smell like outside. After using the Downy Fresh Protect, that is not longer a worry! The odor shield kept me smelling like fresh laundry all day. These are a must in my washer from now on. When Downy first came out with their Unstoppables, I actually contacted the company asking why they didn't make a version in their April Fresh scent. It's my favorite laundry scent of all time. I was beyond excited to see these Fresh Protect beads in April Fresh!!! They work fantastic! So easy to just pop them in your washer and your close smell so wonderful and fresh. I'm just over the moon about these. (Yes I realize it's a laundry product, but hey simple pleasures!) I received some samples free for review and loved them so much I've already bought 4 full sized bottles!

Sometimes, however, when I grab clean sheets out of the linen closet they do not smell as fresh as they did when they were first washed. So the next time I washed the sheets for our bed I used Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist. They were very easy to use ... I just opened the pack and poured the beads into the washer before adding detergent. Bam, that's it. Done. Easy, huh! When the following week rolled around and it was time to change the sheets again I grabbed the set that had been washed using what my kids have named "those beads". They smelled amazing - just like they did when they were first washed! I was also pleased that they felt clean as well - there was no residue or anything left on them from using the beads. These Downy Fresh & Protect Beads will definitely become a part of our laundry routine!
