I don't think I will ever wash my clothes again without using this product it have my clothes towels and linen smelling fresh like they are right out the wash days later I recommend this product you will mothe disappointed I so happy I got to try this product FREE and I'm very satisfied

These are in addition to your regular detergent and softener. Although these beads smell fantastic, I don't really feel they're a laundry necessity if you're already using a Downy softener. I keep mine in a drawer, in a baggie with pinholes - it acts as a sachet and keeps my clothes fresh smelling. *I received this product for free, but all opinions are my own.

Loved this product! I love how fresh and clean my laundry smelled when it came out of the dryer! It's a simple, quick way to boost fragrance even after the clothes have left the dryer! I tested this product as a sample, but my review is based on my experience with the product! I love it and will be purchasing!

It gave them a subtle scent which is perfect! I could smell the beads into my living area from my laundry room. It was a pleasant surprise!

This is an amazing product. So easy to use and the smell is heavenly, it really does last! For the price, you can not go wrong adding this to your wash. I don't know why they haven't had this forever. I highly recommend them to everyone. I tested these Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free and all opinions are my own. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've just got the chance to try Downy Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield and it is amazing! These tiny little beads give off such a strong scent that really does last for days. It is not meant to clean but it does provide a clean scent. I'm definitely purchasing this product soon!

My family has been using Downy product for years, so when I was given a sample of In-Wash Odor shield, I was more than willing to try it. The packet was filled pretty well and based on the directions, I was to use the entire packet with a load of laundry. I was impressed that even though the load was pretty large (included shirts/socks/sweats, towels, and bed sheets/pillowcases - things that can carry a bit of a smell after using for a while, the fragrance permeated through everything! I was a little bothered by how strong it was, so I will suggest using less that what the directions might advise. The scent was not my absolute favorite, but given that I got it for free, I couldn't complain. Overall, it's a good buy. Do I think it's absolutely necessary? No. But when you have a job that requires a lot of moving around and often comes with messes, sometimes giving the laundry a little extra boost isn't always a bad idea. I love this product. When I received it- I was a little skeptical to try something new being that I am so accustomed to my current routine, but this is SO MUCH easier. Trow in some fresh protect beads and your laundry will smell better, feel better, and it is much quicker to use. They also work well poured into a Scentsy or other wax warmer so that your house smells as good as your clothing now. I received this as a sample however this is my own personal opinion. I have used this product twice and will definitely purchase. Just sprinkle in before you add your clothes and they will emerge from the washer and then dryer with an amazing scent. The scent is not overpowering in any way but makes your clothes feel fresh and clean. I highly reccomend
