I was worried at first, one because I have sensitive skin to some washing products and two that it could possibly hurt my clothes. I'm not allergic to it and ask it did to my clothes was make them smell great. It was simply to use and it didn't leave any goop in the washer. My clothes have a lovely fresh smell even after wearing them all day. I received this product complimentary for testing and review. My opinions are my own.

I am not much of a scent person and felt I needed to 1/2 the packet in two loads, which I did. I put the first 1/2 in towels and the second 1/2 in clothes. It was very easy to do, I just through the little beads into my front loading washer. After drying, my towels and clothes smelled wonderful. I will definitely be buying these again and can't wait to use these on smelly items, say my dogs bedding and sheets. Thank you.

I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are your own. I work in very close proximity to people all day and want to smell fresh and clean without heavy perfume. Downy Protect allowed me to feel confident that I smelled fresh and the fresh smell lasted all day. I will definitely be buying this product in the future

These beads smell amazing! They are easy to use and you can add a few or a lot. I had used them on black clothes but will not do that again because they left softner spots on some and you had to run them through the wash again. I will only use them on our sheets because they make them smell great and I do not have to worry about leftover residue. I followed the instructions but they seem to work better with warm water loads but most lof my loads are cold water so they do not seem to dissolve as well. *i received these free for testing and reviewing from influenster.com. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the smell of the Downy Fresh & Protect Botanical Mist was really amazing and fresh, I used just a few sprinkles for y full load of clothes and smelled really good . I was very happy with the way I could use such a small amount and end up with amazing smelling clothes, which I really need, having a teen boy!!!!

I mean, they smelled FABULOUS in the package, but would my sheets really smell that good after a trip through the washer and dryer? I had tried other products before and found that my laundry smelled good out of the washer, but the dryer had sucked up every hint of fragrance and I was left with nothing. So, I threw in the little package I had received from Downy, and waited patiently for the washer to finish. I could literally smell the wonderfulness before I opened the washer lid, but still, would the smell remain after they were dried? I threw my sheets into the dryer for the ultimate test. I am happy to report that following the washer and dryer, my sheets smelled absolutely AMAZING!! I literally sat on my bed with the sheets packed into a ball and my face shoved into the middle for a long time. I went to bed feeling like I was in the middle of a flower garden, but not in an overly pollen-y kind of way. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THESE MAGICAL LITTLE BALLS! I will definitely be purchasing again!

The Downy fresh protect April Fresh in wash order shield beads make my clothes smell so clean! I love that the scent lasts so long, even if I washed something a week ago, it still smells amazing when I am ready to wear it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit, I probably would have never tried Downy Fresh & Protect Beads if I wasn't given a free sample to try from BzzAgent. I am super impressed by how fresh they made my clothes! I threw the beads into the drum of my he washer with a load of darks. They smelled amazing and fresh when they came out of the washer... and continued smelling amazing when I took them out of the dryer and long after they were folded and put away. I was actually shocked by how much more fresh the load of darks smelled when compared to the load of whites I washed immediately after, but without any Downy Beads. It was a very noticeable difference in the freshness of the loads. I would definitely consider adding the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads to my laundry routine to ensure my clothes are the freshest they can be!

You cannot go wrong with Downy. These beads go right into the wash. They leave your clothes smelling nice and fresh. The scent is nice and this product is easy to use.
