[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed the convenience of the pods. The Downy pods really does provide long lasting freshness. I was washing up our summer comforter for our bed and use the downy pod in the wash. Very fresh scent and for days when I would open my bedroom door I would smell the downy scent from my comforter filling my room.

It was a little confusing figuring out whether to use detergent or not, but they smell great and I'm excited to have clothes that will keep the nice smell, especially things that get dirty a lot like soccer uniforms. I got these free for testing from Influenster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added these beads while washing a load of towels. I have bought scent boosting beads in the past, and although my husband loves them, I found the scent to be too overpowering. These Downy beads in the botanical mist scent provided more of a fresh scent that lasted a long time and left my laundry smelling fresh and clean. I would use these in my clothes because the scent is lovely and subtle and would not compete with a fragrance that I would wear for the day. I would recommend these for the people like me who are not fond of the strong, floral scent that comes along with some scent boosters.

I received a sample in the mail and tried this when I was washing my workout clothes and wow-the difference it made! Some detergents don't get out the sweat smell 100%-this product is very nice and I intend to use this regularly now, especially for this load of wash and a few other laundry items.

This was my first time using this product and I did as the bottle instructed. The product was placed in the washer first and then my clothes went in. I have large pink spotted stains on some of my shirts and all of my whites are now pink. This is completely unacceptable and I will not be using this product again.

This fresh protect active fresh in wash odor shield helps keep our clothes fresh and smelling so nice that we were immediately surprised by how effective it was. Will definitely go buy some in the future!

I have 2 dogs that sit on my couch I love my dogs but don't like the dog smell, I used downy fresh protect with febreeze April fresh scent in the wash with my couch cover it came out smelling amazingly fresh with no dog smell it's been 4 days and it still smells great. I've also used it on my sheets and towels I absolutely love the scent it's not overbearing and just a pleasant refreshing scent. I would 100% recommend this product I received a sample to try for free my review is my own based of my experience and I will be buying in the future and continue to use this product.

I seriously love this product! My husband works in a fry factory so his work clothes smell like french fries and I could not get it out! Until I tried the Downy Fresh Protect beads. These things took the smell right out of his clothes, I highly recommend trying these if you have a similar problem. I received the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.
