[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that the product had a good smell. I used it on my bath towels which always seem to need it. I then put them in the closet with my other towels (that I had not used the product on) and I guess I can say that I have not noticed a difference between using the fresh protect and not using it.

After using this product only one time I am a customer for life! It has kept my clothes and my whole closet smelling amazing for days and I have only washed my clothes once. No need to use perfume or lotion when you have clothes to wear that smell this good. I got this product for free for testing purposes but my opinions are my own. I have already bought more!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive been wanting to try these forever but i thought the pods were ok and I was a little bit disappointed when I got the campaign, I was expecting atleast 3 pods in each pouch. I also live in hot area and my laundry room usually gets very humid and I guess there was a hoke in the pouch that ruin a tide pod most of the product was gone when I opened the package. The downy beads on the other hand, I did not like at all. My son and I never have problems with liquid downy but this irritated our skin. I also noticed that there was still some soapy residue on my clothes that could have also irritated my skin. I honestly wouldn't say that these are the best products but they're ok if you're not having the irritation but i would rather stick to the old liquid tide and downy route then spending a fortune on pods that will melt in the laundry room and leaving me having to buy anti itch creams.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are so easy to use and the smell lasts for days on your clothes they are really great! All you do is toss them in with your clothes after u put in your soap and that's it your clothes come out smelling great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about putting these little beads into my wash. I didn't want anything to stain my clothes. These worked great, they made my clothes smell amazing and felt soft. You just add them to the drum of the washing machine before the wash cycle. The beads then dissolve slowly and release a nice scent.

My family loves the Downy Fresh Protect beads! We have two little ones in daycare and one potty training; which means we usually have some sweaty, stinky, soiled clothes and blankets. Even after washing them, some smells linger. With the Downy beads all of our clothes, blankets, and towels come out smelling fresh and oh so good; and they stay that way until we use them! We will not be washing any more loads without them. Please note, we originally tested the Downy Fresh Protect for free; but all opinions are very much my own.

Besides my clothes being a mess I also have a 3 year old son who LOVES playing outside. Between the two of us we have a ton of messy laundry. Nothing ever seemed to work great and make them really clean let alone smell amazing. Both my new Tidy Pods on top of my Downy Beads worked wonders. I couldn't believe how fresh our clothes smelled and how great they look! I can't help myself and am always bragging about these amazing products!

I'm a sucker for detergents and softeners that leave a lasting scent. These are great! My entire laundry room smells amazing once I put these in the wash. If you haven't tried these you should! Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been a fan of having to purchase extra laundry product just for "smell." To me, the detergent alone should be enough. However, I will say that my clothes smelt so good after using the Downy Fresh beads that it's making me consider adding them to my grocery list. The clothes came out smelling amazing and the beads left no residue behind. Great product!
