I love this product! I used the April Fresh scent and loved it. I love the way it made my clothes smell and the scent lasted for a while. A week or two after washing, when I pull it out of my drawer I can still smell the product. I love the smell of Downey have been a user of their fabric softener for years, but have found the Downey ball to not always be reliable. Now I can get the same great scent on my clean laundry but with the ease of just pouring in this product. I was able to try Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield for free thanks to Influenster, but plan to make this a regular item on my grocery list! LOVE IT!

Being in Florida. We do tons of loads of wet beachy and chloride-smelling towels, bathing suits and cover ups in the summertime. I was excited to finally see a product that was specifically deodorant for my clothes! And the Fresh Protect April Fresh In-wash Odor Shield did not disappoint. My towels and bathing suits came out smelling AMAZING! I highly recommend, especially for Florida Mommas like me! (I was provided a complimentary sample of this product for my unbiased review.)

When I want my clothes to stay fresh and clean smelling for a good amount of time—particularly sheets and towels that I store in the linen closet in between uses (at times long periods of time)—I use this in my wash. I don't even use the full recommended amount and they still smell great for a long period of time!

Great long lasting scent. I usually don't use any scent in my laundry because they never last long. But this one is great, not too strong and it makes my entire house smell soft and clean as well. Received a sample of this product to try, the above is my honest opinion and I would buy this product again. Kill two birds with one stone as they say. Fresh laundry and fresh scented home.

This product works so well!! I was very doubtful when I first received it. I thought the smell would last until I folded my clothes but NO! The smell lasts weeks on clean clothes. Even while I was wearing my clothes I kept getting whiffs of freshness! I love these. I will definitely be letting all my friends abt it. I received this product for free for testing purposes but I will be purchasing more soon!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so call me crazy but I could not stop smelling much bedding after I used these to wash my blanket and sheets. They made my whole room smell fresh! I've only used these once before and loved them. It's been so long that I forgot how awesome they were. I also did go buy a whole bottle the very next day! Now I use them with every load. I just can't help myself!

These smelled fantastic in the pouch, but I was a little skeptical. Would this scent last after doing a load of laundry and would these beads leave any residue behind? Happily, the answers are yes and no. I tossed these in with a load of darks and whites (I tried to use one bag for both loads, but I ended up using most of the beads in the white load). I also added bleach to my whites and when it came out of the washing cycle it had a strong bleach odor and I though that the beads had failed. I couldn't really judge the scent on the dark load as I used so few beads, but I was happy to see that there didn't seem to be any residue on my dark colored clothing. I tossed it all in the dryer and when I went to get my laundry 45 minutes later, I was amazed at the change -- everything smelled wonderful! I had to stop myself from burying my head into my laundry as I was in a shared laundry room. I'm also happy that it's not a fleeting temporary scent -- my bath towel still smells like it came out of the dryer (though the scent may be a little lighter) a week later.
