I workout a lot and trust downy to handle the smell on my clothes. Knowing that is is normal to have a strong sweaty smell after we workout and its gone and my clothes smells amazing after i wash my clothes with downys fresh protect odor shield. I recommend this product and the odor protection and frgrance lasts for a long time. I loved using this laundry detergent, I have never used the beads and it of course was easy. It made my cloths smell really strong of the "April fresh." And I was surprised because I did a big load of cloths all together. All and all this is a great product.

I love the smell of clean especially laundry detergent.. Knowing my clothes are clean and not just that but that they smell great. Sometimes when I do my laundry I do a lot of clothes and by the time I get to that clothing it doesn't smell much like detergent. When I got the opportunity to try downy odor shield in the April fresh scent that was send to me by influenster I felt on love. My clothes smelled soo good best part my comforter and sheets as well. The scent lasted for a good amount of time, that's a plus when you have dogs. I will for ever continue to use this product in this scent or new scents that downy brings out. If you like scented laundary, this is the product for you. I personally am not a huge fan of scented laundary, but this product worked well and smelled good. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great-smelling laundary who doesn't want to use fabric softener.

The Downy oder shield beads mace my blankets that my dogs decided were theirs smell good again! I was about to give up and just buy new blankets but now they don't smell like my dogs but fresh. I did a load of my husbands work out clothes just to see if it can promise what it says it can do. Well, let me tell you, putting in the smelliest load of clothes I can get, it was Amazing!!!! It did everything it said it would do and more than I thought it could do. I have tried products that promise to make your laundry smell better and feel better, but none have ever come through like they have promised, but the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist comes through with flying colors. My husband has sensitive skin. Shortly after I started using this he broke out in a itchy rash. I did wash his shirts with Downy beads, the only difference in my normal routine. I loved the smell but because of his sensitivity, we can no longer use this product.
