[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These little beads are the little extra kick your clothes need to smell fresh for longer, they not only leave them smelling amazing but they deodorize them! I found myself smelling myself all the time after using Downy Fresh & Protect Beads, and it not only lasted a couple hours, I actually was able to get the fresh scent after wearing them the whole day. This is a great add on to my laundry routine, the only reason I don't give it five stars is because this is separate from your regular Downy softener, so this will be another product yet to add to your laundry.

So I still wash the clothes for my household even though I don't live there. We are very particular about the wash. I'm also scent sensitivity at times. This was the most amazing smelling packet of goodness ever. It made the clothes smell like I just left the store. My momma was impressed. And to think this was received free for testing purposes.

I have tried many fabric softeners and none have worked quite as well as this product. I use it on blankets and towels and it is long lasting. The scent is fresh and not overwhelming. I received downy fresh protect in April fresh as for free to sample it and give my opinion. It smells really good. I had just gotten back from a week long camping and music that involved rain, dust, heat, sweat, glitter, and body odor from not showering for a week. I came home to find this product in the mail and added it to my stinkier than usual laundry. After the cycle my clothes smell awesome! I work as a waitress in a very hot and humid city in a building with barely functioning AC. I am excited to see how my clothes hold up to my double shift tomorrow.

So I got these for free to try, and I absolutely love the way they make my clothes smell. I actually just went to the store and bought a full size product because I used up all of my free samples in like a day (yes, i know that's a lot of laundry #shopaholicprobs). If you're on the fence, I say go for it.

If I leave the clothes in the washer for more than an hour or so after they've gone through the cycle they just smell a little musty. Downy Fresh and protect has completely eliminated that problem! My clothes have seriously never smelled better and I have Downy to thank for that! I noticed how awesome they smelled after the very first load I decided to let the next load sit for a little bit and see if Downy helped prevent that musty smell, and it did! I no longer have to worry about being right there to switch clothes out of the washer. No one wants to walk around smelling like a musty washing machine and now I don't have to worry about it!

I really enjoyed using this, my clothes are more fresher because of this. I love the smell, that it gets my clothes cleaner. I love that it doesn't mess with the color of my clothes, or destroy them in anyway. The freshness last really long, and that is a plus for me. When Downy first came out with their Unstoppables, I actually contacted the company asking why they didn't make a version in their April Fresh scent. It's my favorite laundry scent of all time. I was beyond excited to see these Fresh Protect beads in April Fresh!!! They work fantastic! So easy to just pop them in your washer and your close smell so wonderful and fresh. I'm just over the moon about these. (Yes I realize it's a laundry product, but hey simple pleasures!) I received some samples free for review and loved them so much I've already bought 4 full sized bottles!
