I was very skeptical at first, because I'm used to liquid softener but the result was just the same with the pacs! Fresh scent, cleaned my clothes & they were super soft :-) I definitely stocked up on Downy Pacs for the future! Too bad I have no pic :-(

**Got this for free but all the opinions are my own. I try to be completely honest so nobody ends up with a bad product. Downy Fresh Protect really helped my clothes smell fresher for longer. The product has Febreze in it too so it's kind of like a double whammy of freshness. It's perfect to have during these hot summer months since it helps keep whatever you wear smelling way better. The reason I only gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a fairly strong scent. So if you're sensitive to smells or are constantly around someone who has a sensitive nose to smells, you'll wanna steer clear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The most experience I have with Downy is with the Downy Unstoppables. It was a bad experience, not due to the performance of the product but due to the fact that I am apparently allergic to it. So, I hesitated, but I still tried the Downy Fresh & protect beads botanical. I really wanted something to make my clothes feel soft and have a nice scent that wouldn't be overpowering and wouldn't cause my eyes to swell. I was pleasantly surprised to have found that in this product. My clothes are soft, and they have a nice scent to them without the itchy eyes and nose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm pretty sure you all know now that I get to try all sorts of products out for FREE from BzzAgent. So when they offered to let me try out laundry products, I jumped at the chance. With the hubs and 3 kids in the house, we go through a LOT of laundry and every free wash counts. And when I say a lot of laundry, I mean me and my husband work out everyday and work and go to ball games, so there's about six outfits a day. The eight year old has school and softball and jammies, so there's three more sets of clothes. The three year old has daycare and t-ball and jammies, so tack on another three outfits, and the two year old, well, what can I say? He's a two year old. My husband works in car sales, so he is outside all day, and, at least in Texas, say goodbye to spring showers and hello to hot humid summer day temps already. This equals stinky shirts, socks, and shoes at the end of a long day. I tried out the Downy Fresh Protect In-Wash Odor Shield first. You put your detergent in first, then sprinkle the Downy in the bottom of the washer before you put the clothes in and start the washer. I made sure I washed one of the hub's shirts in there since he is outside all day, and it's been nice and muggy and hot outside. The clothes came out of the washer smelling nice. They came out of the dryer with a very soft, very subtle clean scent. The smell was not quite as strong as I usually prefer (I personally like to use a lot of the Downy Unstoppables and dryer bars), but nice nonetheless. That's the only reason I give the product four stars instead of five. The hub's shirt still smelled nice too when I gave him his welcome home hug after a long day at work in the sun. I can't say so much about the actual hubs himself, but at least the shirt still smelled clean... :)

Great scent, easy to use, left my clothing smelling fresh and lovely! I have some stubborn smelling t-shirts that I never thought would smell great again...but after using this product, they smell brand new! I received this product in exchange for my unbiased and honest opinion of it. The statement above is my personal opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great! We used them on a towel and sheet load, a full 8 days later and our towels, sheets still smell fresh and clean. It's so much better than using the liquid fabric softener that leaves a weird film on the clothes. I really enjoyed the ease of use, longevity and scents. I have already purchased my own full size package

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Downy Fresh Protect, Active fresh! I recently ran out and cannot find it anywhere - not even online, so I truly hope this product hasn’t been discontinued as I have yet to find a scent or product that tops the downy fresh protect, active fresh.

Seriously, nothing else smells this good or works as well. They’re trying to replace it with one that smells like flowers… yuck. I’ve tried many other brands too and this is all I will use. Seriously, will just stop buying scent boosters. Boo Downy…

Thank you for helping to make my laundry so wonderful smelling and soft, the product is amazing. My kids all laugh when I told them Downy Fresh Protect was like deodorant for your clothes, they love it and are not laughing anymore. Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield works great! They are easy to use- just sprinkle some of the beads in your washer along with your normal amount of detergent and wash. My laundry came out smelling so fresh and clean. The April Fresh scent is refreshing and clean smelling. My whole basment, where my washer is, smells great now! I definitely recommend this product. I received this product free for testing purposes but all opinions are my own.
