I loved using this laundry detergent, I have never used the beads and it of course was easy. It made my cloths smell really strong of the "April fresh." And I was surprised because I did a big load of cloths all together. All and all this is a great product.

I just received this product for testing. Today was my laundry day and these beads were easy to use and my clothes smelled so great!! I really like the scent and I will purchase these in the future. I love this product the smell last but there is one issue I have had and I hope you fix it . It only is on this product Downy Fresh Producf (which is my favorite scent ) out of all the other scents . If I wash in cold water they do not melt instead they partially melt sticking to the laundry but the other scents in the black canister work in cold warm or hot . Why do these not ? Please fix this . The smell is awesome but all my laundry can't be washed in hot or warm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was REALLY very concerned about trying this product... because it seems strange to put loose wax pellets in your washing machine, but it was fabulous! There was no residue on my washer or any of the clothing in side and the amount of smell these little things put off was shocking! I look forward to trying them out in the future and finding other scents.

This is not something I would particularly buy, but I did receive it free to test and review. If you are looking for something to make your clothes smell good, especially if you get sweaty, then the scent beads are great. I used them on my workout clothes and wore them the next day. I definitely had a great workout and got sweaty, but my clothes never smelled. I still had the April Fresh scent on my sports bra! Like I said, I did receive this free, but my opinions are my own.

I washed my gym clothes with the odor shield and LOVE the result! I can go work out and leave without smelling like I worked out! If you are sensitive to strong scents, this one may not be your best bet, but I happen to really like how the beads smell. Reading the packaging, I was looking forward to finding something that had a little something extra as I am a six day a week gym-goer and my clothes never seem to hold any kind of 'nice' smell to them. I was saddened to discover that my dryer sheets had overpowered the spell of the Downey Fresh Protect when I took my clothes out of the dryer. I also don't think they clothing really kept any smell as the day progressed or during/after my time at the gym. It may have just been the particular scent, but I really didn't notice that big of a difference. I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are my own.

For someone who is obsessed with things that smell fantastic, I am definitely obsessed with Downy Fresh Protect Beads. My linens and clothes smelled just as good coming out of the wash as the bead did going in! I love crawling into bed and my sheets smelling like April Freshness days after laundry day. I will definitely continue to buy and use the Downy Fresh Protect Beads, I just wish that there were more variety of scents. With all the scents out there to add to laundry I like this one and one other the best. It really does knock the oder out. My daughter tends to make a lot of messes so I usually have a lot of wet and dirty towels to clean. Usually I have to wash them twice to get that moldy smell out of the towels but not with this. Between my tide pods and this my laundry room never smelt better.

I received these for free for my fair and honest review. I really liked the way these made my clothes smell. Everything came out smelling so fresh and clothes didn't get ruined like I imagined melting wax on clothing. I'd buy this product and use it in the future.
