[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downy® Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield was really very fresh smelling on clothes all the day and love the smell of the clothes to wear after wash.. the blue beed's are so cute to look and looks like tiny candy on the white packet.. For more than smell on scent on clothes the tiny candy looks of Downy® Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield made me to buy a new box today at the time of grocery. I was really so exicited and end up calling my friend to try this one..

The odor shield is game changing. For me certain synthetic fibers cause stronger odors and these little pellets made a significant difference both in my clothes (in our 100 degree weather) AND my husband's work clothes. Worked well in my LG HE machine. I recived a free sample for review purposes from Influenster but all opinions are my own.

I love Downey and this is another great product, so easy to use.I love any scent beads but these are by far my favorite. My laundry smells amazing as well as my whole house while I'm washing clothes! I received this product for free but this is my honest opinion!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted the downy fresh and protect beads to be great...and maybe they are, but since I got just one sample, I chose to use it on the worst load of laundry in my house...my husband's work clothes. It didn't make much of a difference. But, maybe if I had used this on something like towels or my daughter's clothes, I may have seen a better result. To be fair...nothing has really been able to make my husband's work clothes smell fresh. But I will say, it was easy to use and did smell nice in the package. Just toss the breads into the wash with your detergent and that's it. I might just give it another try to see the result on different loads.

Some provide the great scent, but the scent doesn't last. I was really excited to get to try out the latest innovation from Downy, the Downy Fresh & Protect beads. One thing that I struggle getting the scent to last with, is my bed sheets. There is nothing more soothing and relaxing that slipping into fresh smelling, soft sheets. Other products I've tried make them smell nice for the first day after laundering. Two tops. So I thought this would be a great place to try out the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads that I received. That first night was divine. My pillow case smelled like heaven. I thoroughly enjoyed and savored it because I didn't expect it to last. Night two rolls around, and I climb in bed...HEY! What a pleasant surprise. The scent is still there, and just as strong. It was about a good solid week and half before I noticed the scent fading. That is amazing! Downy is really onto something here with their long lasting scent technology. I'm definitely sold, and can't wait to try the Beads on all my other laundry!

This product has become a must have in our laundry room. The lasting scent on your clothes makes you feel as though everything is fresh from the dryer. My husband played a double header last night and as he walked past all you could smell is a freshly laundered uniform. I tested Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free but will definitely be buying this product.

I love these Downy pouches with Febreeze. My clothes came out smelling great and it lasted until I wore them (1-2 weeks after wash)! They dissolve by themselves as long as you put them in when you turn on the water in your washing machine. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is that I like using natural products, and this isn't. I received a sample of this product for testing purposes. I decided to try it out on the dirtiest laundry in the house. My husband's military uniforms. After an 8 month deployment. And let me tell you they smell amazing! He gets so many compliments about how good his clothes smell. My favorite was someone smelling him and telling he smelled "pretty" and my husband was confused since he hadn't showered in 3 days. It definitely keeps your clothes smelling great.
