Normally, I like the Downy Unstoppables. I've tried different scents - Fresh (my favorite), Spring (a close second), Shimmer. I've also tried and liked the Fresh Protect version with the green cap (I think it's called Fresh Flower or something like that). When my supermarket was out of the size I wanted in this, I decided to try this version of Fresh Protect with the blue cap. It smelled just fine through the lid. I came home and put some laundry in my front-load washer (some workout clothes and some towels and washcloths). I used Tide Free

When it comes to having clothes that smell fresh, I'm kind of a fanatic. The clothes I put in the wash with the fresh protect were quite soiled as these were the clothes my husband and I wore while moving. I Nissley got these as a sample pack and I will definitely be purchasing the full-size product! Just this morning I took one of the shirts that I wore out of the closet and it still smelled as if I just washed it. I really enjoyed these! The scent was perfect and not overpowering in any way. I used it on my sweaty gym clothes and they came out smelling fantastic. I could still smell it during my next workout. I received these for free to test from Influenster, if I had a coupon I would definitely purchase.

I love downy unstopables, the make my clothing smell good. I received these for free from insfluenster in exchange for my honest review. When I opened my voxbox I was happy to see this product. I immediately put some clothing in the washer and used Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh product, it is indeed a deodorant for your clothing. Your clothing will smell good after you wash them and after a full gym session. If you sweat a lot and tend to get smelly clothing, you should definitely use this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to admit, I probably would have never tried Downy Fresh & Protect Beads if I wasn't given a free sample to try from BzzAgent. I am super impressed by how fresh they made my clothes! I threw the beads into the drum of my he washer with a load of darks. They smelled amazing and fresh when they came out of the washer... and continued smelling amazing when I took them out of the dryer and long after they were folded and put away. I was actually shocked by how much more fresh the load of darks smelled when compared to the load of whites I washed immediately after, but without any Downy Beads. It was a very noticeable difference in the freshness of the loads. I would definitely consider adding the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads to my laundry routine to ensure my clothes are the freshest they can be!

They really do make your laundry smell great and the clothes come out soft. The smell lasts for a little while into wear, then it fades. On my towels, the clean "I just came out of the laundry" smell lasted for days. Overall, for a great smell and feel of your clothes, this is a good product. For LONG lasting...I would go with Unstoppables.
