[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little hesitant to try these at first but I was pleasantly surprised when my towels and blankets came out of the wash smelling so nice after using Downy Fresh Protect Active Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield! My younger children have sensitive skin so I only used this on towels and blankets but they can even use this and I will now use this on a regular basis for my family! We love the smell and how fresh and clean the laundry comes out!

I have a Division 1 sports child that has been home for a month and hasn't done laundry yet. This certainly couldn't hurt and the horrendous smell of her sports clothes was awful. Well I was positive I was going to have to wash these clothes twice, but remembered my free samples and opened one and through it in. Well these clothes that I didn't have much hope for came out smelling fabulous. If you have sports in your house these are a necessity..I received my samples for free and am thrilled with the outcome.

I received these fresh beads as a free sample to test , and I love them so much I can't wait to go to the store and buy them. The made my clothes smell just heavenly My only complaint, and maybe this is unique to the sample, is that the container was very hard to open. We had to use a knife. The product itself is fantastic though. I highly recommend.

I love doing laundry. I take pride in combining products to make my clothes clean and fresh smelling. I've used a similar product from another company, and I prefer the fragrance of their beads and I don't have to use so many beads from the competitor to make my laundry smell good. I tried to skimp with this Downy product (like I usually do with the competitors', but the fragrance was very weak). I like this product, don't get me wrong; I just prefer the other brand. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the Downy Fresh & Protect Beads Botanical Mist is AWESOME! If your like me you end up washing your blankets a lot more through out the month then you have to! Not anymore! It has been a week and my blanket still smells like its fresh out of the dryer. What I would want to know before I get this product would be how long is it suppose to last, and I would like to know what it smells like. With a product that is suppose to last for a while, knowing if I like the smell is an important part of my decision making process. Downy definitely got their scents down, because this product smells great! Everyone should try it at least once! I know I am again! Next challenge will be the dog's bed! :)

I've been very skeptical of this type of product since they began hitting the market. I haven't ever tried any on my own because they can be pricey on a college student budget and I didn't find them to be 100% necessary. I received a free sample of these inside my Influenster box (all opinions are my own) so I figured I would test them out on my most difficult clothing- old volleyball t-shirts that have absorbed gallons of sweat over the years. No matter how much soap I use or how often I wash them, they always have a musty smell to them. I tossed some of these scent beads in with a load of only old t-shirts to put them to the ultimate test. After drying, I was SHOCKED to see that they smelled like normal clothes should. While they didn't smell fresh as a daisy with a lingering scent, they got the icky scent out and that's all that matters to me. I have washed them since and they came out smelling the same- no musty smell to them. As I mentioned before I don't see myself buying these frequently as I don't really NEED them, but from time to time when something needs freshening I would definitely pick up a bottle of these little beads.

I was hoping that I would be able to enjoy jumping into bed every night and having great smelling sheets. I have seen them advertised on tv and it said you will have long lasting scents. It probably lasted about 3 days and the scent was gone. I was a little disappointed it didn't last longer!
