I think his horrendous foot stench kills off any trace of laundry soap scent as soon as the socks touch his feet. I was thrilled when I tried these Downy Fresh & Protect Beads. After a day at school and out with friends his feet didn't stink. I didn't even have to bag up his socks until laundry day! That's huge. They made a believer out of me. They are also so simple to use. I just dump them in with my wash and let them do their thing. My laundry smells amazing for days and days. This is an awesome product!

I really liked this product. I used it during my color wash cycle. I loved the smell immediately and love the fact that you can smell it through the packaging. The downy beads leave your clothes smelling good and feeling super soft. I tried this product for free but this is my honest opinion.

Omg I am in love with these little beads! They smell amazing from the package to the end of your laundry cycle. So fresh and sweet smelling keep your clothes and especially blankets feeling and smelling good and so so soft !! Recommend to anyone and everyone

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Downy Fresh Protect .. to be honest I wasn’t a hundred percent sure what the intention of this product was so I googled that and then I had to google the instructions on how to use the product as the it was not clear on the package. I figured out that you are to add the beads to the wash machine, start the water, add your soap, then the clothes. When I opened the packet I was not impressed with the smell of the beads. Not a bad odor, put very strong. When the clothes were done washing I moved them into the dryer and noticed there was no smell, which in this case I was glad. :) Overall not impressed with this product and will not buy it in the future, however thankful that I did get to try it for free!

I don't normally buy these products but was appreciative of the opportunity to try this particular one. My laundry literally smelled good all day... even after a smelly day at work... I forgot I was wearing my work clothes! The smell is not too strong, but strong enough to last unlike other brands that seem to fade once you take them from the dryer. Pretty Cool. First of all I love the April Fresh scent! As a runner, in always looking at ways to keep my gear smelling fresher as long as possible. Down Fresh Protect with febreze definitely helps with that challenge! I recieved this item for free for trains review purposes- but all opinions are my own (and I'll definitely get these again!)

I received this product free in the mail to test it. I am so impressed by this product! As soon as you open the package you can smell the beads. They have a very strong but fresh clean smell to them! My husband is in the army so his uniform normally smells awful. These downy fresh protect beads really help keep his uniform smelling fresh all day long!

OMG! I've never been more excited to wash my clothes! These Downy bead make our clothes smell wonderful! We don't usually use fragrance in our laundry, but since I was given the opportunity to try this product for FREE, we figured, why not?! *I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.*

We love this product and use it in all clothing loads. Love for teenagers laundry! Has helped so much.Only problem I would love to have fixed and why I gave the product a 4 is to sell these beads in a bag or some other more earth friendly way. Hate purchasing more plastic bottles. A refill or something kinder?Hope this happens soon!

I got to test the April Fresh Beads for free as part of Influensters Vox Box. I loved the fresh scent and the fact that they didn't leave any residue. They made my stinky mildew smelling towels smell wonderful. My husband even commented on how nice the laundry smelled lately. I'll be buying these for sure!
