I received this product free for testing purposes, but my review is my own opinion. The product absolutely does what it says it is supposed to. The clothes had a nice fresh scent while I was wearing them after washing. I don't know that this is something I would really buy though. As long as my clothes are clean, that's all I really care about. If you are all about all day freshness though, this is your product.

I have used the scent boosters before and have always liked them, but I never tried this one. I used it on towels and it seems to work just like the other scent boosters I have from Downy. It is a fresh scent, and I would likely buy this one again.

I just received this product for testing. Today was my laundry day and these beads were easy to use and my clothes smelled so great!! I really like the scent and I will purchase these in the future. I love the Downy beads! I've used the Downy Unstopables in the wash before, but not the Fresh Protect. I really like the April Fresh scent, and the smell is fairly strong just opening the package. I actually used less than the recommended amount, because I feel it's quite strong. One week later, and my sheets still smell fresh! Of course the fresh smell fades over time, but the lovely scent stays much longer than after washing with detergent alone. Clothes still smell incredibly fresh in my closet too. Downy beads are already part of my laundry-day regimen, so I will definitely be buying in the future! *I received this product free of charge for testing purposes. Thoughts and opinions are my own.

Let me start my saying that when I opened my sample this was the first thing that I smelled and it was amazing! It was nice and "Fresh" it was not overpowering at all like what I have experienced with some other laundry scented products in the past. I was really excited to be trying this as I new about the Scent Beads in the past but had never tried them. My husband works in an environment where he gets oils all over his clothes and no matter how hard we have tried, we have not found a way to mask the scent, so this was the perfect product to finally be able to use on his clothes to see if we could finally get that stinky oil smell off of his clothing. I found that the Downy® Fresh Protect was really amazing at getting rid of that nasty oily smell on his work clothes. Not only is this product really easy to use, (just pour the measured amount into your laundry while you washing your clothes), but it is great smelling and it is effecting at controlling odor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Downey Fresh is AMAZING! I used to wash my sheets every three days just to keep them smelling freshly clean! I now only have to wash them weekly. I could go longer because there still pretty fresh smelling but I'm a clean freak. The smell last for weeks on clothes also. I went out and bought more just so I could wash everything in my house with them because ther are so fresh smelling and the smell last. It's been three weeks since I washed my living room curtains and they still smell like there Fresh out of the wash. Recemend these to EVERYONE! You must try you will not regret.

When I open my closets or my drawers it smell just like the beads I love it! These beads are now a ritual when I wash and you do is throw them in a wash and forget about them its that simple. Buy these you will not regret it . they smell amazing!

I really liked how the scent really stayed in my clothes and sheets. The sheets still smell great and washed them over a week ago. I also like how the little beads (they look like pink lentils) look and sound when you pour them into the washer, I know that's add but I just thought it was fun. I got to try the Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh for free but the opinion is my own.

I washed my blanket with the beads and a Gain Fling almost a week ago and it still smells like I washed it today. I loved the scent so much that I put the empty package in my closet because the sent was still so strong even with out the bead.
