I have 2 dogs that sit on my couch I love my dogs but don't like the dog smell, I used downy fresh protect with febreeze April fresh scent in the wash with my couch cover it came out smelling amazingly fresh with no dog smell it's been 4 days and it still smells great. I've also used it on my sheets and towels I absolutely love the scent it's not overbearing and just a pleasant refreshing scent. I would 100% recommend this product I received a sample to try for free my review is my own based of my experience and I will be buying in the future and continue to use this product.

These are amazing. The fragrance is phenomenal. People have asked what that smell is during my workouts! I sweat a lot, so I'm happy to find a product combats my stinky gym smell and actually eliminates the odor, not cover it up. I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.

The downy April Fresh In-wash odor shield smells amazing! I was skeptical at using it a first, but the beads do wonders to your clothing. I am a very active person and need my clothes washed frequently due to playing sports. This product helps cut down on washings and helps keep clothes smelling fresh when you use them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the scent when they first came out of the washer, but after they came out of the dryer I thought they made my clothes smell like cheese. They made them feel soft after the dryer which I like, but I don't think I would personally buy them.

I’m in love with clean smells and this is it! Nothing bad to say besides me wanting to use the whole bottle because it smells that freaking great! Downy has so many products so if you don’t like this, you’ll love something they do have! Downy is definitely a classic go to!

I was surprised on how strong the odor from the beads are as soon as I opened the package. Even after drying my clothes the smell lingered and I was happy with the results. I can't say that this will replace my fabric softener but it does give my clothes a lovely scent.

I loved using this laundry detergent, I have never used the beads and it of course was easy. It made my cloths smell really strong of the "April fresh." And I was surprised because I did a big load of cloths all together. All and all this is a great product.

As you might imagine the products I use are very important to me! I was fortunate to receive a free sample of Downy Fresh. I have noticed this product in the store, but honestly never understood what it was. Now I know! It is not a softener. It's more like a deodorizer that you put in the wash cycle. Though I am very particular with what I wash my twins clothes with I decided to add half the pouch to the wash load. I have never had our girls clothes smell so good and it didn't leave any residue! Next I added a little to my regular clothes load. The scent was a combination of floral and rain. When I put my shirt on the next day it smelled so good!!! I only used a fraction of the recommended amount and the scent lasted most of the day. Overall I loved this product and will no longer pass it up in the store!
