We love Duraflame logs; use them as a base, after several hours, for starting a wood fire. They burn clean, and allow us to stretch the firewood we buy for the winter. The box of nine is just more of a good thing; we can buy a little less often and not run out.

Duraflame has always been the best brand to buy. I was excited that Sam's Club had it in stock for once and I was able to purchase. The logs light well and stay lit. However, after timing it, the majority of the logs only burn at 2 hours with a couple of logs burning closer to 2.5 hours. I'm disappointed that the length of time it burns is not advertised but still happy to have these in my home.
