I tend to feel like using fake logs and fire-starters are like cheating, but I bought these to make it easy for my daughter to use the fireplace in our cabin without too much trouble. these logs really burn nicely. They throw off a lot of light and produce nice flames. I was pretty impressed. They also last about three hours, as advertised. I was pleasantly surprised with these logs, and their performance

If you’re not trying to impress a date with your survival skills these are a quick and easy way to make a warm comfy fire. My chimney sweep says these burn cleaner than wild-caught wood and are the reason my chimney has lasted so long. These logs burn approximately 3 hours as advertised with very little smoke and no unpleasant smells. Animals appreciate the warmth in front of the fireplace. It’s an easy way to help heat the room and enjoy a pleasant ambiance on chilly nights.

I love a good fire...but, sometimes I'm just not in the mood to go through the process of building a fire with actual wood and then maintaining it. I keep these for a quick "fire night" or I have even used as a start to a wood fire when I'm being lazier. They last at least 3 hours..but, more like 3.5-4.

We love Duraflame logs; use them as a base, after several hours, for starting a wood fire. They burn clean, and allow us to stretch the firewood we buy for the winter. The box of nine is just more of a good thing; we can buy a little less often and not run out.

Duraflame has always been the best brand to buy. I was excited that Sam's Club had it in stock for once and I was able to purchase. The logs light well and stay lit. However, after timing it, the majority of the logs only burn at 2 hours with a couple of logs burning closer to 2.5 hours. I'm disappointed that the length of time it burns is not advertised but still happy to have these in my home.

Sams offers DuraFlame logs at a competitive price for 9/box. Been using these for many years. They burn for 3 hours as promised and there’s no mess bringing them in. Our chimney sweeper has not noticed a creosote issue. We use these for short burns and to start a raging fire (wood logs) during a cold snap. They are nice in an outdoor fire pit. However, contraindicated to cook hotdogs or toast marshmallows or any food with these.

Not the best Firelogs, but if you use them to start the fireplace or an outdoor firepit they work fine. These logs are smaller than the competition sells, 3hr. instead of 4hr. logs. They start easily and produce a small flame which for me lasts about 2hrs. The price was slightly less than elsewhere and substantially less than the Home Improvement stores. The logs are great for camping to get your fire going, especially in cold , damp firepits
