We bought these firelogs for our outdoor fire pit. They burn close to the prescribed time and with less smoke than other logs.

The duraflame logs really do last about 3 hours and look nice while burning. They give off some heat as well.

These firelogs are by far the best one's on the market. You can't go wrong with making this purchase, I'm very pleased that I did.

Great long burning logs for days you don’t want to go get wood. Burns clean and safe. Great price. I wanted more but out of stock 😢.

The logs have gotten consistently smaller year over year. They used to be 6 lbs rated for 3 hours, then became 5lbs. These are 4.5 lbs rated for the same 3 hours. They barely last 1.5 hour.... Low price and low performance.. would not recommend

The last couple of cases of the duraflame “Gold” have been inferior to ones I’ve used in past years. They don’t burn hot and keep going out. The just smolder instead of flaming up.

I bought several boxes thinking I would have fire logs to get me through most of the winter. I was wrong! They say 3 hours, but it is more like 1 to 2 hours. These burned faster than other logs I have used. I would not buy them again.

I agree with the other reviews on the burning length of time. We get about two hours, if that on some and never the three hours as advertised. However, the burn is clean and great for the first hour and a half, then the flames start going smaller and smaller. They have cut the quality or made a negative change because they use to do the three hours as advertised and as they use to. I am pretty much forced to use these as I have not found any other that I like better. We use these in a fireplace. I'm sitting here looking at one barely burning that I put in one hour and fifty five minutes ago and the flame is barely coming out. Now, if I poke it and break it up into small pieces, it will burn big for a few minutes and then dwindle down to nothing rather quickly. They are great to start a new wood fire quickly, like the one person said, "put the log under the wood and then light it". To me they are better than the fire starters to get a fire started quickly. - burn good - no odors - great for starting the wood fire Do not last three hours
