It took a lot of work to find this beauty. But I was determined. It might have taken driving across state lines and multiple phone calls, but I did it! I have been wanting a Black Arched Cabinet for 3+ years, and since the price of them has doubled since I started looking back in 2020. Finding this at such an affordable price was worth the hunt! It's very heavy and sturdy. But it was too heavy for me to lift into the house with my husband. We needed to call in help and use a dolly! This sucker is heavy! It came well packaged it took forever to unbox. I wish it didnt come drilled for hardware though. Id rather have a knob or latch vs. a pull. And I might do some mods to the bottom cabinet as I dont love the painted cane. Make it more my own! 10/10 recommend for this price and if you can get your hands on! Also it did fit in my chevy Traverse for anyone wondering box size its about 39x 73 x 19.

I bought this after having seen it on an influencer’s social media story. From the looks of it online it seems like a wonderful product. It shipped and delivered within 2 days of ordering and the FedEx team helped me bring it inside since it is extremely heavy inside the box. After spending 15-20 minutes even removing it from the packaging (it is packaged very securely) we finally got it out. Upon inspection, my husband and I found the base to be uneven with significant damage. There are many pieces cracked off the side and bottom, as well as screws that are not stable and just fall out. When the bookcase is upright, it wobbles back and forth. Definitely NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I’m so mad.

I saw this item broken in my Sam's Club. I still ordered because it fit perfectly in my dining room. The piece is beautiful but poor quality. Arrived with piece chipped off, crack in upper door, and arch not securely attached to base (you could see the chipboard and pegs to attach it). I didn't even attempt attaching legs or handles. I had it shipped directly to my house by their shipper. It is a pain to repackage securely to send back. My advice would be to have it shipped to your local Sam's Club and let them unpack and access the damage. Also, if you order, demand the shipper send 2 people to move and have shipper honor scheduled delivery time.

the cabinet is great, the delivery from Sam's club horrendous. The item was left in my driveway without even a ring of the doorbell. The cabinet was also quite damaged, the entire back wall of the cabinet was crushed leaving a hole. I wanted to replace but unfortunately out of stock again so Sam's gave a slight refund and I will have repaired.

I had been eyeing this piece for quite a while. I decided to purchase two since Sam's had it on sale for Christmas. Pick up the piece and at first I was not going to open because I am getting my room painted but my husband wanted to check things out. I am so glad he did! The first box we open the left side of the arch was chipped on the right inside the wood was spilt. You can tell it was spilt due to drilling the nail in too far. It is a shame that whoever put this piece together packed it to sell knowing it was defective. I truly loved the look but unfortunately, I will be returning.

Order one in black, somewhere along shipping, even though it states clearly on front to not use a forklift, a forklift was used and left the glass shattered. Sams online was great, sent a replacement, had damaged one picked up and even gave us a gift card for our trouble. Received replacement, opened today, and it had been dropped somewhere along the way, jamming the bottom panel where the leg attaches. Had to yank it out, ripping the mdf and tearing small nails from back panel. Dinged up on front too. Product is very nice looking but too fragile for how shippers handle things these days. What a shame!

Bought two of these..one was perfect and the other completely damaged in 5 different areas. Called the Whalen manufacturer…IT SAID THEY ANSWERED 24/7….not true. Left my number…said they would call me back…they did not. I emailed them. In the 5 days it took them to get back to me, took 5 days for them to respond and they refused to do ANYTHING! Sam’s club did what they could on their end and got nowhere with Whalen as well. Sam’s gave me a partial credit which I was at least thankful for bc at that point there were none in stock around us and to get one shipped would have cost more and no guarantee it wouldn’t get damaged (as the company denied it was their fault even though nails were shot up in part of the damage!) So in summary only buy if in stock with multiples at your store bc Whalen doesn’t stand behind their products. If I were Sam’s club I wouldn’t do business with them. Thank you Sam’s for your help though! I felt like they actually cared unlike the manufacturer

We had not seen these in person before deciding we wanted them. None of our Sams had them on display. Based on reviews, we thought we would take the chance. We ordered two of these for pickup around Christmas but had an unpredicted snowstorm. We debated canceling the order and reordering when we could pick up with no snow. We called Sams and they said they couldn't hold them beyond 24 hours. After which, they would return to stock. After discussing it, we decided to just brave it and boy are we glad we did, especially with these coming in and out of stock so often. These were well worth the effort for track them in stock and to pick them up in store. These are beautiful timeless pieces to add to any decor. We mix traditional, farmhouse, modern decor and it works in our setting for us. We have looked at similar cabinets at Anthropologie and Arhaus that were thousands more. We have 20 foot ceilings in the room where we have these so at 74 inches, if they were taller, it would have been better. However, that's not really a complaint, just an observation. These are heavy. The finish on the outside and on the shelves were clean. They were well packaged and we didn't have any damage unlike some others. We collapsed the packaging on two boxes for these and ended up with two 90 gallon trash cans filled to the rim of cardboard. Assembly was simply screwing in the four legs and four cabinet pulls as others have described. We did remove stickers on the glass and on the pulls. They could have used the clings stickers instead of adhesive. The shelves are adjustable. We ended up moving one middle shelf as far as we could to fit one item that was too tall. We are definitely happy with the purchase and would order more if we had other spaces to use them.

My husband and I have been searching for a lovely cabinet for his ever expanding bourbon collection. When I saw this cabinet, I knew it was the one! Delivery went beautifully! Unboxed it and found that it had been very carefully packaged. We looked it over and found no visible scratches and nothing was broken. The magnets that keep the doors closed are strong! We were able to adjust a few of the shelves to make room for his different height bottles. Highly recommend this cabinet!

If I paid $600 it'd be 1-star, but I got it on sale for $300. Honestly, if it wasn't a pain to get it back to the store I'd return it. The doors were loose (had to tighten the hinges), the handles are cheap plastic (and they put stickers on them in the most annoying place). The screws for the handles don't work, so when you pull the handle it just falls off (threads are wrong, or cheap plastic handles come pre-stripped). It had a couple scratches coming out of the box. Just a total bummer and I'll probably never buy Members Mark furniture again after this.
