Broke down after less than two years, nothing but back pain. This was a replacement for the original Cloud TP that we had purchased in 2013, and we were talked into the Hybrid by our local salesman. Nope, never again. Within a year, there was a solid 8 inch crack leading all the way down to the coils, leading to many uncomfortable nights of sleep and lots of back pain. Stick with the regular memory foam.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried three beds in a box before biting the cost bullet on a Tempur-Pedic and wish I would have just gone with this from the start. Best sleep ever. Works well on my bed frame. The only negative is that I never want to get out of bed and my kids keep trying to sleep with us now.

The first night on this bed was great compared to my last mattress; I hardly tossed and turned at all according to my Fitbit sleep tracker. Over the weeks, I have awakened to back pain still (in PT for sciatica and piriformis pain) depending on how I have the bed tilted at the head or feet on the adjustable platform. I KNOW the mattress is still new and needs to be broken in, but how long does that take? And I feel as though my side of the bed is sinking faster than my partner's (I weigh a little more than he does) and so maybe that's why I'm not getting the best sleep. I even added memory pillows to accompany the sleep experience (which has helped with neck and shoulder pain) but I am still not having the most comfortable rest. I do workout so maybe it's muscle pain and fatigue that doesn't help, but I though the Tempur-Pedic is supposed to help alleviate this type of pain? Finger's crossed, it gets better over the months. PS I did a stay at a hotel recently and had the worst sleep (or lack thereof) tat I could remember! My body was definitely missing my Tempur-Pedic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first tempur mattress purchased stemmed from poor sleep. This is no doubt the best mattress I have owned, and best sleep I have experienced. I used a sleep tracker to assess my sleep patterns for a few months before the purchase. I realized I was not getting much deep sleep, and spent a lot of time tossing and turning. The differences were immediately realized. I consistently sleep better now, deeper and longer. I am a side sleeper; the adjustable frame has made a major difference as I don't need so many pillows anymore, just one. Well worth the investment!

My husband loves this bed and is getting better sleep than ever before. He did not sleep well before and he says this bed has prevented him from tossing and turning as much. He prefers a more firm bed and I prefer the more plush beds. I realize this bed is supposed to be on the firmer side, but I'm having a hard time adjusting to just how firm it is-especially when I flip on my side. I toss and turn more than I expected to and when I do, it takes the bed some time to adjust to my new sleep position. I have also been getting very hot every night and have had a hard time regulating my temperature in this bed. Between my husband and I, the bed becomes a heater and we have to turn the air conditioner down to 67° or lower for a semi-comfortable sleeping temperature. I will disclose that I'm 12 weeks pregnant and that may have something to do with my experience.

The first year on our new Tempur Pedic Adapt Medium was great. Soft yet firm, with support everywhere you need it. Just like I remember from the Tempur Pedics that I slept on for years throughout high school and again after college. But almost to the day one year later, I started noticing neck pain when I woke up. It wouldn't go away, and started getting worse. I got the Tempur Pedic neck pillow, which did help a bit, and my wife says it reduced my snoring. But the neck pain never went away, with some days worse that others. After a few more months, my wife started having trouble sleeping because of back pain. Then I started getting back pain when lying on my back. We realized the areas where we sleep had gone completely soft, yet the sag in the top layer did not meet the company's warranty standards - as determined from the photos that they told me to take and send in. But this issue is not visible from the outside; it is a failure of the foam cells throughout the midlayers of the mattress. I can feel it by shifting to the center of the bed where neither of our bodies lie while sleeping. It feels like a ridge that you can balance on, like a thin sliver of support. But because of the properties of memory foam, there is no way to evaluate this without lying down on it. The mattress retains it's level form even as the interior foam completely breaks down. The company makes an effort to brand themselves as 'high end' and charge a fortune for their products. But just like their beds, the support from Tempur Pedic's customer service team is also severely lacking. It is very impersonal and you feel somewhat betrayed after getting completely shut down without a fair analysis. I am very disappointed with the way this company has become after being a previously happy customer. I used to recommend the beds anytime the subject came up, but I will never again. The product has gotten worse instead of better, and their service is abysmal.

We bought the Adapt split king. The mattress makes the worst noise when you move around. The two mattresses separate and leave a 5 inch gap every night! The mattress is more like a medium-firm. I would rate it's firmness a 8 which is too hard. The floor model was softer but of course it had been layered on for years. I owned a BeautyRest before this and wish I hadn't got rid of it. I'm so sick of this mattress.

I was concerned with the firmness as it doesn't feel like a traditional mattress, but it molds just enough to me. I love that it doesn't get hot and I can finally sleep. Only thing I don't like is the height, but I should have ordered a smaller foundation.

I turned 50 a few years ago, and even though I exercise and take care of myself I was waking with more minor aches and pains than I would have liked. I made an investment in this great product and have noticed a difference - I'm sleeping better and waking feeling more comfortable.

Recently engaged and realized we needed a bigger bed. Fiancé is 6'4" and my queen size Adapt was not suitable for us long term. There was no way I was going to revert back to different mattress and I don't think he wanted to either as he has become pretty spoiled with my mattress!
