The Tempur-pedic is by far the best I have tried. I was skeptical at first and didn't really believe a high end mattress would help much with my back pain. Boy was I wrong. I've had this mattress for 5 months now and it has helped my pain substantially, and now that I am pregnant with my second child I am extra thankful for a truly comfortable bed. It conforms to my body relieving my aches and pains, without making me feel like I am sinking. I honestly don't know how I went without a Tempur-pedic all these years. Absolutely worth every penny!

I researched what bed would be best for a side/back sleeper. I found the medium hybrid would be the best choice for me. I have had the bed since July 22nd. I still wake up with shoulder pain and lower back pain. Unlike many of the reviews, I wake up frequently and have to reposition. It is cooler than the Posturepedic, but I had to buy bamboo sheets to help with that. I am hoping that I will feel differently as time goes on. I am certain that one of the Tempurpedic mattresses would be a good fit. I wish I knew which one.

The first night I slept on the Adapt mattress I woke up with no more body aches. Only slept on it twice so far and it is a little firm, but everyone who has a Tempur-pedic says it will take about a month to break in. I have Tencel sheets and don't sleep any hotter than my old innerspring mattress. I highly recommend getting a power base so you can lay in zero gravity which takes all the pressure off your lower back. As a total side sleeper, I think I could learn to sleep on my back. Raising the back is great for acid reflux or when you just can't get your pillow the right height. Looking forward to the mattress being broken in and will post another review at that time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this mattress and am very pleased! I work as a cardiac nurse with long shifts and sleep at night is crucial. My old spring mattress was uncomfortable and I would wake up very sore. I also have scoliosis with chronic back pain. Ever since I got my new mattress, I no longer wake up with aches and pains. What an excellent purchase!

Without a long drawn out story I can say this mattress exceeds my expectations. This is our first Tempurpedic mattress. You know how when you buy a mattress and the first week to two weeks your body needs to adjust? This didn't happen to us! No sore back! I have arthritis in my back and I expected my usual two weeks of pain but it never happened. We've had this mattress for just shy of 30 days and can say honestly that we love this mattress.

It's definitely worth the money investing in one of these mattresses! I had gone through 3 or 4 "cheap" mattresses in the last 7-10 years and probably spent more doing that!! I've had my tempurpedic for over a year and still 10 out of 10 recommend to anyone. Especially if you wake up with back pain. If you're tired of your dipped in mattress. If you're tired of tossing and turning to fall asleep. This is a no brainer- stop thinking about it and get it!!! (That was my biggest mistake, not getting it sooner!)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have loved using this mattress! It is super comfortable and the bed nicely conforms to my shape, making it very supportive. It also is very quiet and doesn't move around almost at all when my spouse moves around at night. It is supposed to help you sleep a little bit cooler but I have found much difference in my sleep temperature. I also like that it's not a super thick mattress and doesn't make my bed super tall. So overall I have really loved this mattress and would recommend this to family and friends! I received this mattress as a free product in exchange for a review.

I have not had a solid sleep until I purchased this mattress. What a world of difference! I'm now sleeping solid (no more tossing and turning) I'm now getting the best sleep that I've ever had! I never realized how important it is to have a quality mattress to get the proper sleep your body needs! It was well worth the investment! Quality and comfort, hands down!
