Were finally getting a good nights sleep we took our 1 year old adapt mattress off the frame and brought a hybrid mattress on line for a quarter of the price with a better warranty now we are sleeping thru the night with no pain best decision ever was getting rid of the Tempur-pedic mattress don't waste your money on a name brand mattress poor quality bad service and a company that doesn't stand behind there product

I purchased a Tempur-Pedic mattress about Thirty years ago and it was the best mattress I ever slept on. I felt it was time to replace the mattress, so I ordered this new one and it is incredible to sleep on, I would not own any type of mattress other than a Tempur-Pedic mattress.

Been a bit disappointed in my temperpedic. I feel this isn't a good bed for folks who sleep in there stomach. I sometimes wake up with lower back pain because the temperpedic medium I own is too soft and doesn't support me enough to when laying on my stomach. If it mattered I'm 6'3" 195lbs. I would highly consider getting the firm version of you are a stomach sleeper.

Well, first, we have not had the mattress and base very long, and it is possible that any review would differ over a longer run. Having said this, it appears that my wife and I (on a King long twin) bed, sleep more soundly. My wife has had serious back surgery, over the years, and it also seems that her constant pain is somewhat reduced using this mattress. I work out and push myself. I find that various positions of the base allow for more comfort dealing with exercised- pushed muscles. Our previous mattress was a very good and expensive latex and while the Temper-Pedic allows for a better sleep, I do miss an edging, as it provided a more substantial mounting into bed, especially since my wife and I are on the shorter size. I have figured it out, that is, getting into bed, but if one uses, say, bamboo sheets or other slippery ones, there is always the fear of sliding back to the floor if the mount is not successful. Thankfully, this has not happened, and the base is as low as it goes.

We got a queen size Adapt Medium Hybrid mattress and foundation. It's so comfortable! I had a hard time finding a mattress that works for me (I like medium soft) and my spouse (who likes medium firm). This mattress has us both happy. We sleep on our backs, sides, and stomachs and have had a really hard time finding the right mattress. You slightly sink into the top layer and can feel the mattress cradle your whole body...right down to your feet. It has a little bit of "give" overall...I think because of the coils in our hybrid version. To me, it has a plusher feeling than the all foam version. My spouse has had two back surgeries...in the lumbar and cervical areas and is happy with the level of support in this mattress. We didn't want to get out of bed this am. (I also appreciate that it's cool to the touch.) We're thankful we found this mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a great experience with the purchase and delivery. After ~30 days we are still undecided on the comfort. It is not quite as "soft" as we would have anticipated with a medium firmness. After seeing all the rave reviews and paying the cost of this mattress, we were anticipating "game changing" sleep, but that has not been the case for us.

This was our first memory foam bed, so we thought we were going straight to the top getting the name everyone knows. This bed was uncomfortable from the first night. It felt much firmer than it did in the store, and after reading more reviews, this is usually rated as a medium-firm on the comfort scale. We thought we would give it a fare chance, and ended up sleeping on it nearly the entire sleep trial, but the discomfort and pressure points that made my arms and hands fall asleep never relented. We ended up sending it back, which cost us $150 in freight charges, and it took a whopping 23 days for the refund to get back to our bank from the date the mattress was picked up. I would only recommend this bed to those who like a firm bed, and have money to burn. This mattress always felt hard as a brick to us, and we never saw the value in it for the premium price.

So far I really like this bed. My hip flexors no longer hurt. No pressure on different parts of the body make for great sleep. It hasn't been the 90 days that is recommended but so far I'm loving the bed. Only negative is I read you can't use a heated blanket. I really miss that now that the weather is changing.

I had a ruptured L5-S1 and a bulging L4-L5 with obvious disc disease. I even found myself sleeping sitting up during chemotherapy treatments. Thirteen years later, my back went out while moving and I noticed my mattress was no longer supporting me. I purchased the new mattress and within 4 days of sleeping on it, I am back to normal. This is a life altering product for me.

We thought the pillow-top was just fine but often struggled with back, hip, and shoulder pain as we grew older and routinely lifted our ever-growing toddler. Recently we upgraded from a queen to a king size bed and decided to splurge on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. We will never go back. I used to be awoken by my husband tossing and turning - but not with the Tempur-Pedic! I never ever realized how disrupted my sleep was until I was able to sleep soundly. Also, the back, hip, and shoulder pain I mentioned; markedly decreased. The Tempur-Pedic wraps your body and alleviates the stresses of the day. Now when I travel and have to suffer with a normal hotel mattress, I miss home. We love this mattress so much we are gifting my parents a 3 inch Tempur-Pedic mattress topper for Christmas!
