This mattress was recommended by a friend because we have similar back problems. I have been sleeping on my mattress for a few weeks. It is the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. More importantly, I have not experienced any back pain upon waking, as I had with my prior mattress. I highly recommend Tempur-Adapt Medium for anyone that has back problems. It has been a life-saver for me.

I am giving it three stars because I feel that the mattress is too firm for what we wanted and the Tempur-Adapt does not have a softer option. We are considering returning because we want to be in love with our mattress at the price we've paid.

Didn't know how much we needed a new mattress until we bought this. We both are very old and have lots of aches and pains. This mattress did not disappoint. Sleep much better now. Wish we had bought it years ago. Also bought the adjustable frame and like this also.

The adjustable base and the mattress provide the perfect sleep position and comfort. Sleeps a little hot, but other than that no complaints.

My wife and I have owned this mattress for almost 3 weeks. Both my wife and I have stated that we are unable to go back to a flat bed alone. We also purchased the adjustable base and the zero gravity setting is wonderful. This is the best bed and mattress we have ever purchased. My wife and I love this bed and would absolutely purchase this again.

I had a Sterns and Foster plush mattress which is a very good mattress. Have some health issues started to have spasms in legs at night. Diagnosis Fibostist, switched mattress to Tempur adapt. Corrected spinal alignment which relieved pressure on nerve. Leg spasms and night cramps ceased. This mattress is very helpful for me to have a good night sleep

I was amazed at how much better my back and shoulders feel after spending time sleeping or just relaxing in my Tempurpedic bed. I love these mattresses. I had hoped the Adapt Medium would be similar to the mattress I bought 13 years ago -- I loved how firm it was. This Medium is softer, which probably is what 99% of the population wants. I preferred the super firmness of the older model. However, it's still a wonderful mattress that gives me very comfortable sleep.
