So far our generator has been working as expected and after two winter storms, we are lucky of no main power lost. However it feels good to have our standby guardian on call, just in case. Winter is not over and the worst is yet to come, but we feel very safe.

This is my second hold house I have purchased, both be Generac. My first purchased preformed well, was an easy to install with straightforward institutions. I wouldn't recommend most people to do that, only if you have skill set to do so. The new control center setup is great update along access panels that easy remove for installation. Had some Issues with a bad hunting problem with the motor after the unit was installed , it took several return visits from the installer to get it to run smooth , it has been two months now and it seems to be running OK on its weekly run , other than that I like it

Installation was very straight forward with our installer. Looked better than other installs I had seen in the past. Unit is definitely quiter and more efficient too. The 10 year warranty Is amazing and is certainly a manufacturer testimony to the quality we can expect to receive from this unit.

The unit should met our needs. It should be reviewed at the end of a one year cycle.

Product is an insurance policy making sure you have power when a failure occurs. Installation prices are high and some installers want almost as much to install the unit as the unit cost. When power fails, the unit is automatic and restores whole house power.

We live 1 1/2 miles from the highway on a dirt road. In 1995 when Opal came through, we were without power for a week. Now that we are older, as bad as that was then, it would be a very bad imposition now. With our generator, we can keep the entire house going now and don't have to worrying about power outages.

Got the unit about 11 months ago. Haven't had any power outage yet. It runs once weekly as it's supposed to. I did turn off commercial power a few weeks ago to test. Couldn't do it long enough to test the power shedding to the furnaces. But no issues yet.

The 22kw carried the entire house. When we had it installed we ran the test and lit up the whole house and then ran the 220 submersible well pump and electric clothes dryer. The wife was very impressed. Although since the installation test we haven't had to run it under load, yet it does run itself weekly. I feel very confident knowing it is there and ready should the utility fail.

This is our 2nd Generac . We have one for our cabana and now a new one for the house. Oklahoma winters can be very harsh with lots of icing occurring on power lines. For convenience, we added the second Generac for the house. This is a great reliable product.
