Went through through hurricane Matthew in Fort Pierce Fl power went out when the wind's got to around 60 mph, We were without power for almost 4 day's. The Generac cane on did it's job without a hitch. The gas company came on day 6 and filled my tank it is a 250 gal and it only took 50 gal of propane i was surprised, I should have done it sooner, my big gas one would have taken way more good job Gererac. Customer for life.

Less than two weeks after having our whole house generator installed, a wind storm passed through our state and knocked out our power for three days. Having two 80+ year old in-laws with medical conditions living with us made the power provided by the generator a literal life saver. I would highly recommend the Generac generator. My wife says it is the best investment that we have made in the last 25 years.

At this point, my review can only address the installer and the installation of the generator. We've not had a power outage since its installation, and frankly I hope we never have to use it. It's an insurance policy against what has happened all too often causing distress over not having water (well pump) and the potential loss of food in 4 freezers & 5 refrigerators and the further annoyance of not being able to turn on the TV & see the news. Expensive insurance - Yes, but it's comforting to know that when (not if) the power goes, our Generac will come alive!

Generac was just installed. Very pleased with the end results. Man . . . who knew the amount of work necessary to have wired into my 200 amp electric box. It was done first class and to inspection standards. Great peace of mind!!! Very quiet running!

I've had my backup generator for about seven months now. This is my second one actually, since my first was stolen a day prior to it being installed. The generator was installed by our electrician. I set up the programming of it, which was very straightforward. The power has only gone out once since then and it was amazing how it started right up, switched over and ran into power was reestablished. It automatically rubs through its test runs weekly without a hitch. It's a great comfort.

We use this as backup power running on propane. Works fine. My wife was not going to go crank something. It comes on about 10 seconds after a power failure. We have a 22KW unit and it powers everything including a 4 ton HVAC. I love it. Be careful about placement as this is an engine and makes some noise. We have it on the side of the garage away from the house and we can barely hear it. A neighbor installed his (natural gas) and has had problems. Don't have a clue as to why. I just know that mine works flawlessly.

i looked at units from several competitors and generac to decide on a generator for my home. After reviewing the others and talking to the electricians that install these everyday I went with the 22kw Generac. We have had the unit kick in one time because of bad weather that turned the power off all over our area for close to 8 hours, It ran great and did everything we expected, my whole house was able to run flawlessly and we had complete safety and comfort. I would buy again!

We love our general. It was one of the best investment we made for 2016. We should done the same in New York when we lived there. We recommend every one who lives along the Gulf Coast of Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia to get one for their home.

Thoroughly pleased with my standby generator. My mind is always at ease knowing that losing power in my house will be prevented by my Generac standby generator. We lost power about a month ago for an hour and within a few seconds my generator started and I had full electrical power throughout my house. What a great feeling!

Quick efficient installation, trim design, easy to contact installation contractor. This is a high quality product and we do hope it meets our needs should we loose our electricity, especially where we have a handicapped person who needs medicine refrigerated daily.
