After a rare deep snowstorm in our part of Texas where we lost power completely for 3 days, we knew it was (past) time to install a backup system. We called the Malek Service Company in College Station, Texas at the recommendation of a neighbor who had purchased one of their systems. I give this company my highest recommendation for prompt response to inquiry, prompt installation, great explanations about the operating procedures and features of the generator, and friendly and expert service personnel. The unit runs perfectly and can power our whole house. No more worries about power outages, freezer meltdowns, or freezing (or blistering) in-home temperatures. We could not be happier.

We had a 26kw air cooled Generac generator installed to replace our 18 year old 25kw Guardian Elite water cooled generator. Metro Electric did a great job with the new install and we are very happy with the performance of new unit. Within 2-3 weeks of install, we had a 48 hour power outage and the new generator worked perfectly. It is a bit noisier than our water cooled unit, but that is to be expected given the difference in engines for the 26kw air cooled and a similar sized water cooled unit. We love the Mobile Link system for keeping track of the generator exercising and running, particularly when we are away from home.

Our Generac generator has been activated 3 times since my wife and I purchased it in April 2023. It has powered up our home instantly. We love it. Purchasing a generator has been on our bucket list for 20+ years and we finally did it with the professional assistance of Tech Electric, LLC of Dyer, Indiana. Thanks for such a great product!

It has been an adventure getting this thing installed! I live in Central Texas, and knowledgeable installers are few and far between. THEN- you have to deal with the weather! Anyway, we finally got it installed and running today (I have it since March, 2012)! It performed as advertised when we simulated a power outage! I almost can't wait for the real thing!

Generac installed yesterday....Charleston Electric did a great job in a highly organized and efficient manner. City inspector impressed with their work. Generac fired right up...the unit sounds like a finely tuned engine in a luxury vehicle. Transfer switch works perfectly. Thank you Generac for building such a fine product...Made in the USA. We live in a region that gets impacted by hurricanes each year. The thought of evacuating while Covid-19 threatens all of us is disconcerting. We now have “peace of mind” that we can stay in our home without losing power. Thank you!

The first time I lost power was about 6:15 am and the neighbors across the street were getting ready for work and were taking a shower but power went out and my 26 year old son went to the light light panel in the hallway of our house and started flashing the lights . The neighbors saw and commented about the lights flashing on in a power outage. Also sold my father- in -law on the product and he purchased one.

The installation was done by E&RPower Solutions. I’m very pleased with the product and really looking forward to the time when we need it to work, not to wish any bad weather too anyone. I know that the guy who installed it had a 4 hour round trip to drive and the days in Kansas right now are hot, humid and very uncomfortable William was nice, friendly and very informative about what he was doing and about the product,a special thanks to him. For that reason only I highly recommend the product.

I became interested in the concept of having full backup during power outages for my home. I also liked the idea of an automatic system to do this. Generac has provided me with this alternative in a sensable, cost effective product which seems to completely fill my needs.

Our installer (Power Tech) was outstanding to work with. They made all the arrangements with the power company, gas company and inspectors. They ever brought some other electrical appliances up to current code. I would recommend them and the Generac Generator to anyone interested in having this type of insurance for your home!
