The box and fabric pods are lightweight and easy to store unlike those large bulky plastic bottles that liquid detergent comes in. I think these would be a great alternative for older people or people who can’t lift those heavy bottles. The smell is powerful and just like the original Tide scent. It cleans well, however you will need to add two of them to the washer if clothes are really soiled or if you have a large load. The cost isn’t as effective as the large bottles though, you only get 16 loads or less (if using more than one per load) but I will be purchasing again, and highly recommend you give them a try!

This is an innovative detergent that eliminates common issues with other formats-no clumping like powder, no leftover plastic casing like pods, and no mess like liquid. It feels like an ideal option and works efficiently, though handling the pods can leave a slight sticky sensation on my hands. I like that it uses less plastic and isn't a heavy, bulky, or cumbersome package. My main issue with the laundry tile is the cost effectiveness for our family. We are a family of six and we constantly have a load of laundry going. These will just not be a practical option for us, but I can see them working for smaller households. All in all I won't be purchasing more, but I am impressed with the concept and Tide's innovative creativity in solving or plastic over usage.

My favorite feature is how light they are, because now I don’t have to carry a heavy container of detergent to the laundry room. This is a game changer for those who do laundry at a laundromat. It was very convenient to just throw a tile in with my laundry. If I could change anything about this product, I would make it so they could me torn in half, for small loads of laundry.

The packaging is compact for what comes inside and follows Tides typical color pattern. The clothes smelled and appear clean after wash and dry. These tiles are great just throw one in with your laundry and that's it! Works awesome it completely breaks down and it actually suds up and stays that way the whole time and rinses out just as well. I had the original scent and it smelled awesome. I could smell it in my clothes for days ...not a strong smell but a clean smell. No more liquid or powder spills to clean up! I'd have to say this is one of the best....( if not THE BEST ) product of Tide laundry detergent! I gave it 5 stars but it deserves 10!!!!

It easily dissolved in cold water and was effective in removing all but the toughest stains from my clothes. The scent is pleasant and not overwhelming, but I’m extra sensitive so I’d love to see an unscented version. Would buy again!
