My memory is pretty good as is, so it’s really tough to say if it’s had any actual effect on me. I will say that maybe one or two days of me using it through the week; I’ve had an odd headache after ingesting it. Not saying these pills were the cause, but there were not change in habits in my daily activities.

I'd like to see an additional study done with alpha brain regarding the body's adaptation to taking it. The ingredients do what Onnit claims they do, and that is backed up by clinical research. However, I would like to see a study completed in which baseline levels (prior to alpha brain usage) of cognitive function are measured, then alpha brain is implemented just as it was in the pilot study, but then discontinue use of alpha brain and measure cognitive effects the following week, month, and year. A comparison of these performances would provide valuable information about how your body adjusts to the stimulus of Alpha brain, particularly Huperzia serrata in the long term, as it has been suggested that your body down-regulates its natural production of acetylcholine in response to prolonged usage if Huperzia serrata. If this is the case, regardless of how many precursors the body is supplied with, your cognitive performance will (theoretically) return to baseline while still taking the product and potentially drop below the original baseline level of cognitive function if the product is withdrawn (similar to anabolic steroid users who quit using steroids and experience a rebound drop in testosterone). I believe this research would prove valuable to customers and enable them make a more informed decision.

After about a week, I noticed I was a little sharper. It’s not some crazy instant boost, but more of a steady clarity that helps me stay productive. No jitters, which I appreciate, but I wouldn’t say it’s life-changing either. If you’re looking for a little extra mental edge, it’s worth a try!

Taking 2 capsules with a small meal, I'd say within the first 30 minutes, I could begin to tell they were working. My mind felt very clear and focused, whereas I typically constantly get sidetracked by random thoughts all throughout the day. I was able to often complete my long to-do lists with far more ease than usual, moving from task to task efficiently. I probably wouldn't use it every day, though. It is a bit pricey, but if not using daily, I'd say it's well worth the cost. Nice, clear, and concise packaging, zero taste really, and I love that it's caffeine free!

I was able to multi task and stay on task whenever I took these pills. These pills are big and were somewhat difficult for me to swallow, but I got them down each and every time.

I can't particularly taste anything when I take these pills. I do think I need a little more time to truly gauge their effectiveness.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is amazing! I have noticed an improvement in my attention, cognition, and reaction time. The B vitamin has also helped with my energy levels as well. The pill is a powder in a capsule and is easy to take. The suggested dosage is 2 a day, but one a day is working wonders for me. I am on a lean diet (no red meat) so its hard for me to find a really good supplement. All in all, these are pretty good.

Taking a product like this always comes with some skepticism, but after taking it for a month, I have found that it puts me at the top of my mental performance every day but in a natural way that doesn't feel taxing on your mind/body. If everyone stuck with it for at least a month, then they would see that the difference between day one and day two of taking it may not seem worth it, but the difference between day one and day thirty (which is more than enough time) is worth adding alpha brain to your morning routine.
