Pun 100% intended. But seriously this thing is incredibly well designed and very easy to assemble. The material will hold up to most weather conditions. Its also heavy enough where you don't need to worry about it blowing away in moderately strong winds.

Sturdy, weatherproof & comfy! These arrived pretty quick. The assembly was super easy ( not too many parts) & straightforward. The material is a composite and perfect for extreme weather, both hot & cold. They are veey comfortable & very sturdy. So happy with my purchase!

We ordered two Polywood Gulf Shores chairs. We're familiar with Polywood products since we purchased two rockers and a dining table with chairs/benches. The Sam's version was a huge disappointment. Both chairs came with supports that weren't usable. One chair had a shorter support with no holes drilled. Okay, we can drill our own holes, but then we realized the longer support that goes in front was too short. Too short by about 3”. See picture. The second chair came with two short supports. So both chairs had one support that didn't reach the other side of the chair. Polywood customers service refused to help because they were purchased at Sam's. Only option was to unscrew everything and pack them back up for a return since we couldn't get any support. The price was too good to be true. Take a pass on these.

I had really high hopes for these chairs and unfortunately was very disappointed with both. The head rest of the first chair rattled and they told me taking it apart could strip the screws when I contacted Polywood customer service. Then what they sent me was just the replacement to redo the headrest. So I would have to take it apart and likely have a chair that doesn't function. The second chair I attempted to put together had holes that didn't line up for the rocker and leg. One of the most important pieces. Now I will have to contact their poor customer service again. Sadly very disappointed because I thought Polywood was high quality and assumed customer service would be as well.

Too short and the seat is too small; it's only suitable for short people because it's very uncomfortable for people of average height.

Great rockers! Comes with hand tool and drill bit. Suggest using drill for quick and easy assembly as the screws are rather lengthy. Besides the great quality we were amazed with the design COMFORT of the chairs! Actually seems to relieve lower back issues...one would not think that a hard back chair would feel so good! Will be spending plenty of time rocking the time away. Bought 2 for the porch but considering getting one for the inside!

Good luck with Polywood's customer service should you get a box with the wrong parts! I have been waiting for a week for a missing part. I purchased two of these rockers on 7/10/25. It's 12 days later, and I still cannot use the rocker. I went through their website to request help and NEVER received a response. Two business days later, I called them. The person was nice, sent me an immediate email confirming what I needed. The email said the part would be expedited and shipped within two business days, that I would get an email confirmation when shipped. Four business days later, and I have heard nothing. Reached back out through email support, asking someone to respond, and I have still heard nothing. The rockers are beautiful, and I am sure they will last a long time. The limited residential warranty of 20 years sounds amazing, but getting help with the warranty might not be so easy. Looks like the rockers will be going back to Sam's.

My wife and I purchased these from Sam’s about 2 weeks ago. They look great and appear to be built somewhat well. Only 2 complaints, or rather thoughts about the chair overall and the purchase. First, chair overall, is not the most comfortable rocking chair, but if we purchase a cushion for the seat and possibly the back, it will be better, however, that being said, they could be worse. Second, the store only had black to choose from. To get any of the other colors you would need to order them online through the manufacture.
