The Pro Adapt Soft mattress I have sleeps hot, despite following all of the advice from customer service reps. I am petite, under 120 lbs, and over 70. I am also experiencing tingling and pressure when I lie on this mattress. I want to love my mattress and give great reviews, but I am dealing with a dead end. Comfort level is not covered in warranty according to the company. Alan I need your help.

Our TEMPUR-ProAdapt mattress has been a game-changer in terms of sleep quality. The mattress has seemed to get more and more comfortable after each night of sleep, and I'm sleeping better than I have in months. I had been having hip soreness from my previous bed and those aches have been entirely relieved by this bed. I'm not one to sleep in, but this mattress is so comfortable that I have found myself sleeping longer than I had in my previous mattress. The only slight negative is that it does feel slightly warmer than my previous one, but it's so comfortable that I've already adjusted to that aspect. I absolutely would recommend this mattress to those looking for a premium upgrade.

Bottom line: it's super comfortable, but sleeps a little hot I tried so many mattresses and even purchased a different brand mattress that felt comfortable in the store, but when I slept on it at home it hurt my hips when I slept on my side, so I returned it. Even a medium or plush mattress felt too firm. Then I tried the ProAdapt Soft and I loved it, but kept looking elsewhere since I hadn't planned to spend that much. After trying many more mattresses, I eventually made the right decision and invested in the ProAdapt Soft. It is so comfortable! I truly love it. I am mostly a side sleeper but with this mattress I don't feel any discomfort on my hips or other pressure points. I had also read that being a lighter-weight female might be why so many other beds felt too firm, because I wasn't really sinking into them. With this mattress, that is not a problem at all. The one thing I don't like about this mattress is that I started sleeping much hotter. It has gotten better as I've gotten used to it and only bothers me sometimes now. That said, if I had the money, I would probably upgrade to one of the cooling models. But I am still extremely happy with my purchase!

I bought the Breeze hybrid first and HATED it - it was like sleeping on a rock and I woke up sore and cranky every morning. We used the comfort guarantee offered at the store to exchange the mattress for the ProAdapt Hybrid and I LOVE it! I don't want to get out of bed in the morning! Supportive but not hard, soft but not squishy. It cost us to make the exchange but I am so happy we decided to do it.

The jury remains out on my new Tempur-Pedic mattress. It replaced a hybrid from another manufacturer in its twelfth year of use that developed uncomfortable strike through to the quite firm support layers. The ProAdapt Hybrid was chosen simply because the in-store sample felt the most comfortable among the several hybrids and others on site. Despite the warning of the break-in requirement in the product literature, I found the first few days of use bordering on intolerable. With a week or two of additional use the mattress is becoming better to sleep on and I'm willing to withhold final judgement pending further break-in. I suspect my prior mattress was softer overall (and I'm older and creakier now), but I fondly recall the wonderful, enveloping support it provided during and after break-in. None of the in-store options at Mattress Firm offered this and, in the end, I may pursue adding a topper to try to recapture the feel of the prior mattress.

I had a first generation temper-pedic and thought it was time to get a new bed (was I ever wrong). It was quite costly when they first came out but I got one. Anyway I bought a Serta and it was way to soft for me, hurt my back. Sent it back and got a hybrid temper-pedic, and "it" is a little to soft for me, however it would be to costly to trade this one in and get a firmer tempur. So although it's an improvement to the serta, that isn't saying much.

I just bought my third Tempur-Pedic mattress. My 2003 mattress is still a running strong. My 2009 mattress is still running strong. I am giving that one away. The one that I bought this time is the Pro Adapt Firm, for the pressure relieving properties. I have never woke up with pains or aches. The mattresses just get better and better every night. If you are looking for a world class mattress, you found it. Pass the rest and buy a Tempur-Pedic. Those that think that they need a firm, think again. The Tempur-Pedics should be purchased according to feel. Just buy one, knowing that they are life changing mattresses. Also forget that they are a flat mattress. What matters most is how you wake up feeling. I write very reviews. I am writing this one for those that want a mattress that will out perform an of the other mattresses on the market. When I sleep, I want no pressure on my body. All of the Tempur-Pedics have pressure reliving properties. Sincerely, One that knows and understands that they are really World Class

We are enjoying our mattress. It is firm and offers good support. We're sleeping better on it and our backs are much happier. It does not quite bend the way we expected with the adjustable base, it more raises up at an angle. But we are very happy with the support that it offers.

We owned a Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody mattress for many years. We were waking up many times thru the night, as our body was hurting. With our new Pro Adapt soft, we are sleeping thru the night and waking up feeling rested. The mattress is firm enough to be supportive, but soft enough to keep our shoulders and hips cradled. I know there are a lot of copy cat memory foam mattresses, but I am a loyal Tempur-Pedic customer. These mattresses hold up the way cheaper mattresses cannot. The only problem is that I can't wait to get back into bed after my day!

Delivery was messed up twice with no regret for the impact it made on our lives. Limited communication to fix the issue; we were told we would get free pillows to make up for the difficulty, no communication since. When we reach out to Tempur-Pedic we were met with condescending responses and messages stating they couldn't find our order with our email despite sending screen shots of the purchase and exchanges with customer service. Despite the like or dislike of the bed we will never purchase from this company again. Customer service makes the difference and what we have received has been horrid
