I have lost so much sleep trying to adjust to this bed as a side sleeper. It makes me feel stuck in place in the shoulder area and I have been tossing every night and waking with numbness and tingling in my hands. It feels comfortable if I lay on my stomach or back but I am a side sleeper. I thought it would help my shoulder and hip pain but it has not worked for me. It does not align my body, it makes me feel like my head is higher than my shoulders. I called after having it for a week and not sleeping and was told I had to follow the company policy and keep it for 30 days before making a return. I'm in week three now and have not had one restful night.

This is our first Tempur-Pedic mattress after using other popular brands. None of the other mattresses provided the firm support as this Tempur-pedic. It is impressive how one of us can move around or roll over and the other person feel no bounce or disturbance. It is such a solid feeling mattress. We can sit on the side of the mattress and it doesn't collapse. We both agree we are sleeping better, more soundly, and better rested. It is the best ever.

Bought a king Tempurpedic firm bed in 2008. I loved it. Over the years it aged, and within the 10 year warranty period I was able to get a free replacement. We decided to pay a little more and upgrade to the proadapt firm model. It took the 30 days as they say to "get used" to it. We love it and the way Tempurpedic handled our warranty claim.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, one week into the "soft" model mattress. First few days quite uncomfortable. Seemed to be as hard as a sidewalk. After reading suggestions online, we started walking around on it several times a day. Now it seems a "little" better. Time will tell. Sales people should tell you it will take quite a while to get comfortable to sleep on. Maybe as long as a month or two we are now told. Soft is not "soft" as we have found out. Be careful as most display models in stores are months old with scores of people trying out. The one you buy will be very different for quite a while

Wife and I have slept on it 35 nights now. So far it's wonderful. We both sleep through the night, don't get hot and can't feel each other move or get in and out of bed. The hybrid has a great solid feel. Very comfortable on your side or back/stomach. Definitely an all around great mattress.

Awesome bed but when delivered left it at very high height; customer service said 'nothing we can do' and tried to do it ourselves but to no avail. Definitely buy the bed but be certain delivery does not leave until you try out all aspects and they will not come out afterwards.

I wavered with my decision to buy this mattress and after opting for a less expensive alternative I knew I had made a terrible mistake. I returned the offending mattress and decided that my comfort is worth the extra cost of a tempurpedic mattress. I'm extremely happy that I went with the pro adapt medium hybrid. My back thanks me every day!

my husband and I purchased a tempuric mattress in 2021. The first months of use we loved our mattress. However, today, with two years of use, we clearly feel that the mattress is very sunken where we sleep. We feel a hole where we lay. Both me and my husband are feeling a lot of back pain, especially when waking up, we believe that this is due to the mattress being completely uneven, lumpy, sagging and without structure. I would like to point out that we are not fat, so there is no overweight on the mattress and we don't spend many hours lying down either. We go to bed around 10 pm and wake up between 7 am and 9 am. It's not worth the price, for in two years the mattress will be completely bad, uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on.

Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long. Me está costando acostumbrarme al colchón. I purchased a new mattress after 17 years on a Kingstown posturepedic. I chose the temper pedic based on its name and reputation. I have only been sleeping on it for 19 sleeps thus far. I am still unsure of my complete feelings of whether I made the right decision which is a big one in my opinion. The medium firmness and the blend of foam with the coils/springs of the hybrid gave me piece of mind as far as I believe that this mattress will hold its shape and form longer then the strictly foam versions. I read alot of reviews that may or may not support that theory. In my opinion it's the best of both worlds. The medium firmness is not too soft and not top firm. The mattress does sleep warm, something to get used to. I have neck and back issues and tend to wake up every couple hours to either shift sleeping positions or to relieve pressure points. I have had a few nights on my new mattress that I actually slept for a 4 to 5 hour block without waking up which is new for me. I also wake up feeling more energized and overall more well rested. I also purchased an adjustable base which is nice for watching tv and reading. Last night I fell asleep on my back with the head and feet elevated. This was nice until at some point I rolled to my side and found it uncomfortable. I used the remote to go back to a complete horizontal position. I was given a mattress protector as part of a promotion which is a must! I am currently using this on top of the original temper cover. The original mattress protector completely encases the mattress and would be a process to remove and wash. I also switched to a lighter weight sheet set 2 nights ago hoping to eliminate the bed sleeping as warm. I do like the low profile of this mattress, it makes it much easier to get in and out of bed, as before with a box spring, mattress, and foam mattress topper I had a hard time getting in and out of bed. I am still deciding the pros and cons of this bed. I would say at this point the pros outweigh the cons.
