We love this mattress. We've slept on it for several months now and love it more and more every day. We did try the medium firmness mattress and did not like it at all, but the soft is perfect for us. We've owned Sleep Number beds, exclusively for 20+ years, but decided to try something different and are so glad we did. Would highly recommend this mattress to everyone. Our previous Tempur-pedic was 20 years old plus and definitely needed to be replaced. This time we bought a split king with an adjustable base because we both need to raise our heads and my husband needs to raise his feet a little also. The ProAdapt soft mattress has proved to be very comfortable for both of us whether we sleep on our side or our back. We both have different types of back issues and I have problems with sciatic nerve so the comfort of this mattress is extremely important to us and we just love it. I can only think of one negative issue and that's it can be difficult to change the sheets.

I've been suffering from sciatica pain and got rid of my pillow top for this firm Tempur-Pedic, and it has made an amazing difference! For a firm mattress, it's surprisingly more comfortable that I anticipated. I recommend the elevating base as well. I'm very pleased with this mattress/base combo!

The queen TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm mattress is just what I was hoping for. A quality mattress made in America with quality sourcing, with the firmness that my 6 foot 3 230lb frame needed after 20 plus years of sleeping on a standard spring mattress. I wanted a firm feel and then to slowly conform to my body weight in just the right ways. It has only been 3 weeks, but I am just loving it and so is my back and body! Highly recommend this Firm mattress if firm is what you need.

It's fine to sit on or just to relax on. When I go to bed to sleep I find myself miserable. Tossing and turning. If I sleep on my back my neck will hurt, if I sleep on my side my knees and elbows hurt. I got an adjustable base. If I try to sleep at different angles with that it just doesn't help. I've had it for a short time but still have not found a comfortable position to sleep on it yet. I have a lot of different pillows to try with it too and I just can't seem to make this mattress work for me. :( We bought a split king. My husband seems to enjoy it and definitely seems to toss way less then I do.

I sleep very hot but my wife sleep cold. So this bed is perfect not as much cooling as the colling line has but just enough to keep me cold and her not. With my knee problem this bed is a life changer adding the adjustable base and I was all set. Tempur-pedic for life.

To be completely honest when I walked into the mattress store and saw the prices of these mattresses I was ready to walk out and get something more affordable. I purchased a brand new mattress about 3 years prior and since the day I bought it I've woken up in pain everyday and I didn't want to go through that again with a mattress that was more than 3 times the price I paid for my current mattress. After speaking with the sales person about return options and warranties I finally took a crowbar to my purse and bought the mattress. Let me tell you, this is the best mattress I've ever slept on. I wake up every morning and feel great. No more pain or numbness. No more getting massages because my back and shoulders are killing me. This mattress has changed my quality of life so much that if I knew then how great I would feel each day by changing the mattress I sleep on, I wouldn't have thought twice about the cost. You spend probably about a third of your life in you bed, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money and get a quality mattress because it really makes a huge difference.

Don't know how they do it! When I slapped my hand on the bed, it felt close that of a "redgit board". Then, when you lay down on the mattress, it like sinking into a cloud (Just an analogy as I have never slept on a cloud - full disclosure here). The mattress simply adjusts to your entire body and gives you the most comfortable sleep ever. I guess the secret formula will never bare its sole.

I'm very happy with this mattress and I slept good on this Temper ProAdapt Soft mattress. This is recommended mattress for the side sleepers after I did the mattress questionnaire. Only bad thing about it is that the frame has huge staple shape metal frame that hold the mattress at the foot end where I lean on to put on socks or pant. It was so uncomfortable to lean on the foot end of the bed. So now I lean on near the corner instead.
