The 245 75 r 16 Michelin LTX is the best LT truck tire,you can buy,its the safest,best riding,fuel mileage,tire made,I have never had a belt sepration or even heard of one on a michelin LTX because michelin wrote the book on the steelbelted radial tire recipe! I personal have 160,000 miles on a set, of 245 75r16 and they still have safe tire tread left.

I bought the Michelin Defender tires to replace the Michelin tires that came on my 2019 Ford F150 truck. The new tires have excellent traction and stability dealing with all kinds of road conditions. Like the original set, the new Michelin tires are the most quiet truck tires I've ever had, with absolutely no road whine. When the time comes, I'll definitely look at Michelin first.

I purchased this very set 7 yrs ago for my '95 Z-71 SLE GMC which has 270,000 plus miles and never been happier with a single set of tires. I have driven these tires for 73,000 miles and still have 3/16 thread left on them. Being the frist owner of this truck (and yes, it is in immaculate condition all original), it has never been off road, but it has been thru some severe snow storms and have passed several trucks when roads have been bad. As far as rain, I've never been more confident in a set of Michelin tires, than these.

I am old enough to remember bias belt tires and bought my first michelins in 1964. I have never bought any other replacement tire since. Back the friends would not believe me when I would tell them my tires had 50,000 miles on them and they still had tread left to spare. I once had a puncture that ressulted in a blow out at high speed and I retained control of my car and I attributed that to my michelins. I can't say anything but they are the best tires in the world. I have used this tire for 25 years on several vehicles. The tires are great in mud and snow. They also provide some of the best mileage I have ever experienced. My last set on my Land Rover Disco provided nearly 100 thousand miles of worry free driving. I only needed to replace them, with Michelin LTX M/S, because they wore out.

Everything I know technically about tires you couldn't fill a thimble with. So I will tell you what is important to me. The two things that are most important to me are safety and dependability which I continually get from Michelin tires. I think I echo the sentiment of most women. I got these tires 8 or 9 years ago, me and my family travel to Mexico every year so, I managed to put 75,000 miles on them and they still look like new, always get compliments from people who have seen my vehicle (1987 SUV) one of the questions they ask is " you got new tires? I have almost 52,000 miles on my tires. I could go probably another 5 to 8,000 miles. Thread is getting close to the tire wear markers. We are an older couple in our mid-70's. I decided to purchase another set of 4 because I wanted to be sure we do not have tire problems. We still travel a lot. Handles in all weather very well plus the potholes in a few roads we travel. Be safe/feel safe with these tires. We have over 100,000 miles on our truck.

I have 45K miles on these tires and they are great tires. They ride quite and I feel safe with them in bad weather. They have been thru heavy rain, snow, ice and handle well. The tread wear is even and I keep tabs on the tire pressure. I know I need to replace soon and will probably get the same ones. Hoping the prices come down...
