I’m very picky about flavor and texture to an oil with my cooking. I don’t like to have 3 or 4 different oils for different dishes. I use this 1 oil for basically 98% of everything I cook. It has a tendency to blend into any meal that requires oil without disturbing flavor or quality. Also, it’s a fantastic price for a large amount of olive oil!!! I couldn’t ask for anything else in its place. :)

This is a great olive oil. It has enough flavor to add to dressings or vegetables and not overpowering when cooking eggs. It is in a plastic bottle which we love so we don't have to worry about it getting knocked over by the kids (or us) and creating a huge oil slick on our floor (since most oil olive comes in glass!) For the price, it is a good deal as well.

More than half the food items ordered were damaged beyond use. The olive oil had drained out and saturated the packing box as well as coated all other items in the box. The customer service rep was very nice but I will not order food items again from Walmart. Had the items been packed and not thrown loosely into the boxes, they would have shipped fine.

Pompeian extra virgin olive oil is a staple at our house, extra happy with the price for the 68 oz bottle. But please tell delivery person if delivering several heavt boxes to a 2nd floor using the elevator is too much work call us we will bring up the boxes with his dolly, but do not throw our heavy boxes on the ground floor in front of neighbors door.

it's really undervalued. It's a very good tasting oil, on bread or as a dip with spices. Great flavor without being overwhelming. No aftertaste. I was surprised because it is very affordable (compared to for example Spanish oil which tastes great, but costs 4 to 5 times more). Next to the fancy expensive oils i buy, this gets top marks.

I always thought you had to buy olive from italy to get good flavored oil,was I wrong this is just as good for genereal cooking,baking and in salad dressing.The taste is robust and full of olive taste with no bitter undertones just smooth and robust.The size works well for me with a family of four that only uses olive oil or buttdr to cook with for the health benifits and the taste.I could tell this was quality when it was delivered it was about thirty degrees outside and when I opened up the package the olive oil was pretty much solid and cloudy like it is suppose to be.Stores well at room tempature and always taste great give it a try I think you will enjoy it as much as my family has!

The quality seemed to be good. it had all the characteristics of a good quality olive oil that I expected. The taste however was disappointing. It was missing the deep flavor notes I like in an olive oil. When you have to take out a second mortgage to buy a bottle of olive oil these days you would hope it would have that deep flavor you expect.
