Todd, thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern. The reports have been widely discredited for not following universal scientific testing methods. The UC Davis Olive Center itself now includes a disclaimer on the report stating that the findings should not be used to represent the quality or authenticity of olive oil currently on the market. You can view the report and disclaimer here: https://olivecenter.ucdavis.edu/sites/g/files/dgvnsk14776/files/media/documents/report2010finalthree.pdf Please rest assured that Pompeian takes quality very seriously. As a farmer-owned company, we have full traceability from grove to bottle, and every batch is tested by accredited laboratories to ensure it meets extra virgin olive oil standards.
