Love this EVOO - makes my salads taste delicious!

The Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil did not smoke or burn the veggies. Cooked to perfection and full of tasty goodness. Everyone needs a bottle of Pompeian Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil in the pantry!

I come from Italy, so I'm used to the Italians olive oils. I prefer to use oils that comes from a specific area, anyway oil blends are also good if well done. And I think Pompeian is one of them. Its flavor is pleasant and its taste is robust but not exaggerate. Very important, this oil has a right point of acidity that makes it very digestible. Good both for seasoning than to fry.

I made a simple dressing with lemon, oil, black pepper and garlic. Yum! I’ve never had this brand before this, and it’s a keeper. Amazing!! Will definitely purchase.

the person previously reviewing this olive oil who likes the green bottle probably didn't open the bottle. Had he/she poured any oil, they would have noticed that the only part of the bottle that is green is the cap. The rest of the bottle is clear. The oil.......not bad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We make a lot of our own salad dressings and marinades at home. Found this "Robust" EVOO and decided to give it a try and see if it added a new dimension of flavor. Does it ever! It is one of the most flavorful EVOOs I have ever tasted. It is a must for the oil and vinegar only folks. It has kicked up our French vinegrette recipe and added more of a EVOO pop to our meat marinades. If you like an EVOO that is not subdued this is for you.

I read the reviews before buying it, and I was seeking a good strongly flavored olive oil. This is that, but about 1 second after tasting it each time, there is a bitterness that you taste. I was surprised and dismayed at that. I never even heard that olive oil could have bitterness; I wonder if that tasting varies from person to person?
