Great design and solid material!

Upon unboxing I am rather impressed with the quality of packaging, which most of the time reflects the quality of product inside. I'm also rather impressed with the layout/design of the unit and the rigidity of the material used on it. Not only is it simply laid out and easy to understand, it is also very well arranged and has all the connecting features that anyone would need to plug in the devices that this unit can handle. The user manual is also straight to the point and easy to read and understand. I am currently waiting to test it out as I have it charging for the first time out of box plugged into an AC home outlet and can't wait to see how it performs.

My new little friend

I recently purchased this power station to use when there is a short power outage instead of running my new portable generator. This has been a rainy spring in Texas so far and have experienced several power outages already. I love the small size and it has all the ports and sockets to power essential items. Great addition to my emergency kits.

So far I like it!

I bought this in case power goes out from a storm. It arrived mostly charged. So far I have tried connecting a fan to it and that worked well. I'm happy about that because if the power goes out and there's no AC here I will at least be able to run a good fan! The unit displays the wattage of what's plugged into it which is a nice feature. I charged it up fully via an outlet in my house and it was easy to tell when it was done. I like the fact the unit is lightweight. And also that is has a locking feature. I know I am going to get a lot of use out of the unit. Also it was very well priced. And I'm happy there's a warranty.

Nice features; think I got a dud.

I purchased this product in May 2021, didn't use it until June. Initial Charge LED was at two bars, and I got it up to three bars in approx. 1.5 hrs of AC outlet charging; the LED never got up to 100% charge, nor did the DC Input charging LED light ever come on, so I didn't really know if it was charging properly. I said I wouldn't recommend to a friend, however that could change depending up their making good on their service warranty product replacement.

Will not hold a charge

It cannot be counted on to work in a power outage. Ours is only 2 months old. Our power went out today. The iGen300s has been left plugged in and charging for more than the past week. When I went to use it today it displayed 100% charged. I plugged it into our fireplace fan. It displayed a 32w AC draw and lasted only 5 minutes before going completely dead. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us. I charged it again of our gas generator and it said fully charged after less than an hour. I then tried again and this time it lasted about 1 hour with only the 32w load. The display said it was half full at the time it died. It has also smelled like chemicals (like new carpet) the entire time - still does after 2 months. Bottom line, you cannot count on this unit.

Poor performance

I bought this power station in March 22 and have only cycled it about 10 times; its now august 22. It started with supplying 100 watts for 5 hours to some LED bulbs for a art featival booth. It now only lasts about 3 hours at 69 watts of load. Im very disappointed in the performance of this power supply. I'm hoping the item is defective and can be repaired or replaced; hoping this isn't status quo. The item discription said i would receive many many more cycles than 10 or i wouldnt have bought this unit. I'm hoping at least for a satisfactory response from westinghouse on restoring this power supply to meet our needs. we are ising 107 watts and it would be great if it could last for 8 hours but maybe 5 is max but 3 hours with a 69 watt load is unacceptable.

2021 Tour of America

Just finished a 2 week tour of America and the Generator was my primary power during the trip. It was constantly in use. The unit powered fine from both the car and from the solar panel I had installed on the roof of my car. Was loving the unit. Then day 3 or 4 happened. The car outlet seems to have fail around the 3 // 4 day of continuous use. I was using the outlet to power a portable fridge and it was working like a charm for the 3 to 4 days of continuous use. Then it stopped working. Now, I can not power anything from the car outlet. However, the AC Cable adapter that came with the unit worked fine for powering the portable fridge.

1st one didn't last a week at camp.

Father's Day gift, for camping. Charged quickly at home, before we left for a week of Scout camp. Charged my, and 2 other Scout phones, the first 3 nights. Battery life was down to 1/4 on the power station. Tried to charge the power station on a car battery with the DC adapter. It struggled to reach 3/4 charge in 8 hrs. Used the power station again, on night 4, with limited success. Seemed to drain faster than normal this round. Tried changing the power station again, using the DC cable. Power station only reached 1/2 charge in 8 hours. Used the power station on night 5, which drained the battery to 1/4 power. After this, I no longer used the power station, until I returned home. Currently, the power station is being charged on the AC cord, with little to no success. Will not charge past 1/4 battery life.

Repeated and unfortunate issues

I am now on my fourth iGen600s and it too has issues. My original iGen600s worked great for about year and I put it through about 10 full cycles. Then I go to use for the 11th time and its dead. I charge it up, it holds a charge for a couple days and then dead again. It was replaced under warranty with a refurbished iGen600s that was DOA and wouldn't take a charge. That was then replaced with a new unit which worked for about 2-3 months and then had the same issues as my original. It was replaced again with what I believe to be a new unit, but this unit has issues too and will only charge to about 80%, at which point the input wattage drops to zero, yet it still shows charging. I'm holding out hope, and currently again in the process of getting this replaced under warranty.

Brand New Never Used Now a Dud

Bought this because we do craft shows and it was easier than paying for an electrical hookup. Charged it up the first night, haven't needed to use it since I bought it 2 months ago.It was also sealed in a water tight container. Went to double check on the unit to see if it still had a charge, and the unit had no charge. Plugged it in to charge it up, the unit would say it's charged, then after I remove the plug, got no power from the unit. Plugged it back in again, and battery meter showed the battery was dead. I repeated the process again to charge the unit, and again the battery would be dead in less than 30 seconds. It was a mistake to buy from Westinghouse
