Light weight/ easy use

I tried a few different battery packs/inverters to go with the solar panel I got. This is the first that has the flexibility i needed.

Excellent features on this power station

Bought last month and since then I had a power outage for 2 days. Battery came in real handy for keeping the phone and portable DVD player charged.

Great power station. Works like it should

So this isn't the first one I've purchased, and because of my previous experience with Westinghouse products, I've purchased more, 3 this last time. BUT one of the three came out of the box with the Equipment Failure Warning light on and won't hold a charge. The charger and indicator lights tell me it's fully charged, but the moment I unplug it, it dies. This is very disappointing since it seems like I got a dud. The others work great, but this is still an investment and a shame that this one doesn't.

Very reliable brand and seems to be a very safe product for in home use, I have more than one.  plug and play essentially for the not so electronics savvy buyer.  It's a bit heavy, so not for people that can't handle moving heavy objects, buy the smaller 600 if that is the case.  Drawbacks - does not offer a recommendation as to which solar panel to purchase making it more difficult to navigate all the solar panel sellers, does not offer an EMP shield or blanket to protect against electrical pulses and does not recommend that buyers purchase one to protect their purchase.
