I was given this baby video monitor to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. I thought this was an alright monitor. I really liked that it was not dependent upon internet connection and that it showed the temperature of the room my daughter was sleeping in. This helped me to be able to adjust her pjs for the night. The video display is nice, a good size so you can see a good area. The video quality is decent in lighting but pretty grainy in the night mode. If you are just wanting this camera for video then I think it is a wonderful option. I would not recommend it if you are wanting to use it to hear your baby and plan on having a sound machine in the room. The monitor does not adapt to ambient noise and therefore is constantly going off if you try to listen for baby.

To preface, if you are a parent looking products that provide added peace of mind when it comes to raising your child, you definitely need this video monitor. We received this monitor from weeSpring Parent Panel right as we started sleep training our son and it ended up being one of our most valuable tools during the sleep training process. Sleep training can be a really stressful thing but it was reassuring to be able to see my baby so clearly. The quality of the video is excellent. Other times, when my baby was resting super soundly, I could see on the monitor that he was still breathing which gave me even more reassurance. I also appreciate that the monitor has a rechargeable battery. When I'm taking care of chores around the house, it's nice that I don't have to keep the monitor plugged it but can carry it around with me, room to room. One small feature that is nice to have (and one I never thought of before) is the temperature reading at the top of the screen. I have only one criticism which is, even though there is a way to adjust the screen brightness, the lowest setting is still brighter than I would like when I have it on my nightstand while I'm sleeping. It's not a huge deal though because I can just turn the monitor away from me. Overall, I love and highly recommend this video monitor!

I really like the Phillps Avent Digital Video Baby Monitor. I received it from the weeSpring Parent Panel and I am so grateful I was able to use it for my little one, especially during nap time. I loved being able to see him with the color monitor and the talkback feature was awesome. He was very surprised when I told him to lay back down and he could not see me. I had no problems with the night vision to keep an eye on him while he sleeps. Can't wait to use it again for baby #2 due in February. I would definitely recommend to anyone expecting or in need of a new baby monitor.

The Philips Avent baby monitor is the best baby monitor we've used throughout our three children baby stage. It's quick and easy to set up and even easier to use. I tried it out on both my 16 month old and my 5 month old. For my baby, since he's still in our room, I placed it near my own dresser and turned it towards his crib. On occasion I even placed it within his crib, at the foot of his mattress. It's so compact and portable that it doesn't take up hardly any room and is easy to maneuver and set up to your exact liking. This was a great option for whenever I went outside with my older children while the baby was napping. I was still able to take the portable display part and keep an eye on my baby without being in the house. For my 16 month old I placed it on his dresser and turned to face his bed. My 16 month old loves sleeping in the dark and likes to have his door closed when napping/sleeping. Despite how dark it was in his room, the monitor still provided a great image. The monitor itself is also great since there's no blinking bright light when in use or a lit up screen. Aside from the optional night light (which itself isn't too bright either), you can't even tell the monitor is there, let alone on. This is great if you have an older child who will try and touch it if he could see it. The actual screen/display is also quite light and portable. The screen itself is a good size, and the option to turn down the sound and still receive alerts when baby is making noise was a blessing when using it with my 16 month old. My baby (who's crib is still in our room) wasn't bothered by his older brother whenever he made noise. I was happy to have received the Phillips Avent Digital Video Baby Monitor as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel, in exchange for my honest review.

I was given this baby monitor a few weeks ago, to test as a part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My overall opinion is that this baby monitor makes big claims as to picture clarity, long distance range, and ease of use - and excels at each point! This is an excellent monitor. I have used a simple audio monitor since my baby was born, but now that she is a year old, it is hard to know what those cries mean. Crying is a natural part of falling asleep for babies, and it has been reassuring to see - very clearly - if she is standing in her crib crying because she threw out her bunny (and needs help) or if she is lying down, crying off and on, with her eyes closed (settling herself and almost asleep!). We placed the monitor in her room on a window sill and it gives a wide, full view of her crib. I like the option to mount it on the wall in needed in the future, but we don't feel this is necessary for our set up currently. The parent unit is very well designed. I was nervous that the instructions for set up were all images - there wasn't a lot of explanations about each feature. However, I quickly realized that explanations weren't needed! The unit is very intuitive to use and after pressing through the options once, I knew exactly what each button was capable of doing. My other children also learned the options quickly, and it's easy to ask them to check on the baby. They love the music options and being able to switch the mode to video to quickly "see" the baby. The mode choices are quite helpful. We keep the parent unit in the kitchen, so when company is over, I appreciate that I can switch the unit to just audio, so my guests aren't looking at the baby. During the day, we typically keep the unit on ECO mode, and it stays charged all day as we move about the house. It's a comfort to know that if the screen is off (black), all is well upstairs! When I first lay the baby down for a nap, I often switch it to video so I can keep an eye on her while loading the dishwasher or prepping dinner, and then switch it back to ECO when it's clear she's asleep. The range of the parent unit has allowed us to be in the backyard with the other children during nap time, which has been so helpful. My other audio-only baby monitor was limited to just outside the backdoor, so we are all thankful for the greater flexibility! In all, this baby monitor is well made and delivers on quality of image and sound. I highly recommend!

I received the monitor for free as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel for my review and really love the quality of the monitor. I set it up on the dresser across the room but it also has stuff to mount on the wall. The picture is super clear and the sound is awesome. I love the feature to play lullaby direct from the camera in the baby's room. I had a speaker only monitor and this is a major upgrade. The eco, audio and video features make it easy to switch settings. I was concerned about set up and linking but all I needed to do was turn it on. Super easy and user friendly - highly recommend

This is a great video monitor. The picture is really clear and night vision is awesome. Having the Eco mode is really nice - the monitor goes black when it's quiet, but comes on with any noise. There is one thing I'd change - there is a loud beep that the monitor itself (the part the parent has) makes when you turn it off. I'm pretty sure this function can't be turned off. It's really amazing to have a video monitor, especially while sleep training (actually, essential, I'd say). I received this product through the weeSpring Parent Panel.

I received this product through the weeSpring Parent Panel for my honest review. The monitor has a large screen that is very nice, if it's daylight the colors are very vibrant. The infrared night vision is also is not very clear, it's very grainy, i can't tell which kid is in the cameras view. I was disappointed in the quality of the picture when the room is dark. The cameras are small and very sleek, but there is not a very big range of area that it covers. Overall im not very happy with system, it does the job for the most part. The function were not very good either, the zoom feature, does not show much and Limited zoom and pan options (no tilt). I didn't use the ECO mode, I like the monitor on at all times to see my girls, day or night. The sound goes in and out, does not stay on when I have the volume up, it comes and goes which I do not like. If I'm in the shower I like to here the kids, but mostly I hear nothing. It also sucks that you can only use one camera with this system, I like the option of adding more cameras. But this system does not allow that feature. Overall It's an OK system, I wouldn't purchase this product myself.

I received the Philips Avent Digital Video Baby Monitor from weeSpring Parent Panel to review. I have used two other monitors in the past but were not completely satisfied with either. This monitor has several features the other monitors were lacking. Set up was a breeze right out of the box. Simply plug in and place where you can see your baby. The camera has the ability to be mounted on the wall which is a great option for parents to have, especially when placement options are limited. I was amazed at the size of the screen. It's nice to have a monitor large enough that you don't have to pick it up to check on your baby, especially at night. You can easily glance at the screen and see your little one. The picture quality is nice in both color and black and white. I have noticed that when bright sunlight filters into the room it can make the picture quality somewhat grainy. Having an actual monitor is a plus for me because I didn't have that option with one of our old monitors. It could only be viewed through an app. Other monitors that I have used in the past have had obvious picture lags, and I have been pleasantly surprised by the fact that this monitor does not lag. The large clip on the monitor makes it easy to take with me wherever I go, and the range is incredible. I can move around doing housework without having to remember to take it with me from room to room. The connection is even strong enough for me spend time playing with my toddler outside while my baby is napping without having to worrying about losing signal. The battery life is great, which was something I had trouble with on the other monitors I have tried. My favorite feature is the silent/vibrate only mode. My children are 20 months apart, and keeping the oldest asleep when the baby wakes up at night has been a challenge. The vibration is strong enough to wake me without having added sound from the monitor that could wake my oldest child. That is so helpful! There is one thing that would put this camera over the top for me. I would prefer to have the ability to pan the camera around the room, instead of only being able to pan when the camera is zoomed in. This would be helpful when my kids are in the room playing but are not in direct view of the camera's placement. I honestly don't find the zoom feature helpful as is. Overall, I am impressed with this camera. Any product that helps my family get better rest and helps me better monitor my kids gets an A+ in my book, and the Philips Avent Digital Video Baby Monitor does the job!

I received this monitor as a part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. Previously I had used a web based WiFi monitor. This monitor was so much better! I loved the convenience of the handheld monitor and how there was NO lag like on a WiFi based monitor. It has a number of modes including a great battery saving Eco mode and a sound only mode which is great when I'm trying to sleep as well. The monitor is super sensitive and I was always aware of my babies were awake. The screen was nice and clear. I wish we had had this monitor from day one!
