You absolutely cannot go wrong with Cabot, and you cannot find a better price. Considering it can be about $4 for a half pound at the grocery, this price is phenomenal! Cabot is an excellent brand, with wonderful flavor. one of my favorite brands!

I usually buy imported cheddar for a variety of reasons but decide to give this one a go. First off, it has an amazing intense flavor that I look for in a cheddar. But what surprised me was the texture. I'm used to the crumbling consistency of most cheddars but not with this one. I used in a charcuterie board with excellent results. Definitely a repeat buy for me.

This is very tasty cheddar, I almost always have some in the house. However, 3 of the last 4 times I’ve bought it it was very crumbly and didn’t slice well, thus losing a star. I believe this is because it had been frozen at some point. Doesn’t affect the taste, but the texture is not great. I have been buying this stuff for years as I love the flavor, and will continue to do so.

Like other commentators, my family and I were loyal Cabot cheese buyers for decades! Particularly the Seriously Sharp. But around the time of the pandemic we noticed a serious decline in quality. The cheese is no longer sharp at all. No more crumbly hard deliciously sharp cheddar flavor. Instead it's just a rubbery almost tasteless bland block. I can't imagine what the non-"seriously sharp" taste is like. Such a shame. We used to drive to Vermont from Montreal and buying that cheese was a staple of every trip, now we don't bother at all. Haven't bought it in probably the last 3 years, definitely lost a long time loyal customer, me and my family.
