Perfect for an NYC apartment!

I received this complimentary for testing purposes, and I have to say I'm impressed. I live in NYC, where space can be hard to find, and this fits wonderfully in my studio. It's slim enough that it doesn't get in my way when I'm not using it, and it functions just like the full-sized Keurigs I've used in the past. I also really like that there is a removable storage bin for the K-cups! This is definitely efficient — it only holds enough water for one cup, but for me it's perfect. If you have a Keurig and are thinking about getting something smaller, I definitely recommend this!

Great if you know how to clean it when it stops

I am very happy with this machine! I read many reviews that said it stops working after a while, and that is true. But if you have hard water like we do, you must pour in a descaling solution or vinegar water mixture and run it through once then two more times with water. Also pop out the pod holder and rinse snd wipe out water container, esp the valve that takes in water. Takes all of ten minutes to do. It works like new after! Requires cleaning about every two months.

A flawed machine

I've had 2 machines sent to me under warranty. Both had the same problem in that they could not make a 6oz K-cup. When I put the water level up to 8oz I might get a 6oz serving. They are now sending me a K-Duo Essentials, we'll see how that turns out. The only positive thing is that the Keurig Company tries very hard to do the right thing in sending new machines .

I like that this is slim and it can fit nicely tucked away with my already limited space counter top. Only thing I don’t like is how it gets a little stuck closing when there is a pod in the machine. The puncture into the foil is always a tough...I’ve used it Monday through Friday for the last 9 months.

Would NOT Recommend

Needed compact sizing, used twice and then stopped working. Put K cup in and wait to brew and nothing unit cuts off. Repeat x 5 and nothing very frustrating trying to send back. When does finally do something the coffee is NOT hot is luke warm and is a cider color does not look like coffee. Also extremely loud. I have tried everything to get this unit to work and repeatedly it shuts off. Very poor quality would not recommend purchase, very frustrating! Would give 0 stars but website requires at least 1 star to post. Not recommended!

So I’m a little disappointed. Maybe because this was overhyped. It works fine. I really wish i could dismantle and clean this machine better rather than just pouring the cleaning solution through it. I hated buying the k cups for these only because they were so expensive or they came with too many pods to just “try” the flavors.

Doesn’t work right

My wife gave me this for Christmas and it has never worked right and seems to be getting worse. I’ve used other keurig models and have never had these issues. First, it doesn’t brew the correct size cup. For example if I put in 12 oz of water, I might get a 4 oz cup of coffee. Where the extra water went, I have no idea. I’m guessing it just sits in the machine because a lot of times I’ll try to brew another cup to fill my mug the rest of the way and it ends up overflowing. Waste of kcups. Second, the newest problem is that it’s brewing cold coffee. Cold coffee isn’t exactly ideal on a January morning in Ohio. Third, on the rare occasion that it does brew correctly, it is so slow. 5+ minutes for a cup. Never seen a keurig be this slow. I really want to like this machine and I was excited to receive it but it just doesn’t work properly. I’m going to try to perform all the cleaning steps keurig has in the support section of the website and see if that helps but based on other reviews it just sounds like this machine has inherent issues. Would give 5 stars if the machine worked properly.

Cute design; does not work well

I was excited to purchase this k-mini; it is the perfect size for the space I put it in and considering I am the only coffee drinker in my family. The k-mini works, sometimes. I will push the button and eventually, it will just turn off. Very frustrating when I need my cup of coffee in the morning. Great concept for Keurig; but, dysfunctional; I'm very disappointed.

This was perfect for a single dorm! I now keep it near my desk at work. This does not have a large reservoir, one cup of water only, so I use my water bottle to fill. I have had no problems with it. I like it’s small footprint and that the cord tucks away neatly into the machine.

Technical flaw

I bought this exactly a year ago. Noticed occasionally I'd have to press the top several time to get the water to drain and then I'd end up with a lukewarm cup of coffee. Seemed to be an intermittent issue. This has now happened consistently for 3 days. I have purchased many Keurigs and kcups from this site, and I'm a bit disappointed in this model. I loved the compactness and the strong brew feature.
