[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For free we received 4 rolls of Charmin Ultra Strong. Charmin is not kidding, this stuff is strong. It's like using a wash cloth! It's so strong that our toilet clogged a couple of times. That's frustrating. Also, seriously, does TP need to be THIS strong? Price is an issue too. So, you use less tp because of the strength? Not with 3 kids in the house. We flew through the TP and will not be buying more Charmin. If you really need strong "ultra" toilet paper, then Charmin is for you. Otherwise, save your $$ and go with other quality options.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely a change in the bathroom. My wife and I were changing rolls out three times a week and now we are down to once a week at the least. Charmin Ultra Strong is by far super absorbent and we don't waste quite like we used to. I am sure that our yearly expenses on toilet paper will significantly reduce due to less paper required per wipe. It all comes down to that, less paper per wipe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a one ply guy. I typically don't care which toilet paper I use as long as its the cheapest kind. I've been like this for years. Not anymore. I was shocked the difference a thick strong toilet paper can make. Ultra Strong Charmin was so great I could get away with using about 1/4 the amount of paper for each use without feeling like I wasn't getting the job done. It never broke and was so soft I don't think I could go back to other brands. I would recommend Charmin Ultra Strong to anyone and plan on continued use in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In the world of Toilet Paper, it's rare indeed to find anything that makes your hiney feel more pampered than Charmin's toilet paper. I suppose if I was a TP snob, this would be the only thing I would buy, but my bum is pretty laid back. Anything that's not that single-ply sandpaper you find in some shady restaurants will do me just fine. The only downside besides the price to this fluffiest of toilet papers is that some porcelain thrones aren't accommodating enough. Before I moved out of my apartment, Charmin was known to clog the toilet more often than other brands. All in all, a great product that you pay for.

Here is the low down. This stuff is indeed strong. There is nothing worse than ripping a hole mid....ummm....you know..... swipe. That is NOT WINNING! Well, worry no more, it shouldn't happen with this stuff unless you are trying to remove a dried paint/glue mixture from your rear. If you have a 4 year old, you know what I'm talkin' about. It is also soft. "How do they get it soft AND stong?" you say, well, I can't answer that, but let me assure you that the science guys have figured it out. What that means for your household is that if someone is having a "sensitive" day, they are covered. I recommend this stuff for any household and it will continue to be a bathroom staple in mine. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Full disclosure: I've used this product before, so it's not like this was my first exposure to it. I'll be honest with you...this is not a toilet paper I'd buy on a regular basis. As the name states, it definitely is strong. But it's not the most comfortable TP. My heinie prefers something softer, like Charmin (R) Ultra Soft (which I sometimes buy) or Quilted Northern (R) (another regular in our bathrooms). There's nothing wrong with this product, so don't let my 3-star review lead you to believe there is. It's just not as soft as I prefer my TP to be, and it's not something I'll buy. That said, I certainly have had times in my life I wish I had Charmin (R) Ultra Strong, like when my grandma used to buy cheap, flimsy Scott toilet paper that was like wiping with tracing paper I used to use as a kid in school (for tracing, not for going to the bathroom).

We recently went on vacation for 9 days. When we returned we found that we had a pin hole leak in our hose in our toilet. We had Charmin mega roll package sitting next to the toilet. It absorbed so much water it weighed 70 lbs. or more! It definitely saved us some major water damage. We always shut our water off before departing on vacation but we just forgot this time. Thank you Charmin for saving us a lot of money in repair cost. This is a true story., Always remember to turn off your water supply when leaving for vacation and always have a package of Charmin close by!

However, after having tried Charmin Ultra I would have to say that it is a great product. A pet peeve of mine is if toilet paper comes off while being used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our household has been purchasing whatever toilet paper is cheapest at the store for years. Depending on which store we are shopping at and what sales are going on influence our purchase the most. The Charmin brand is usually not the cheapest so we were happy to receive a free sample trough BzzAgent! Maybe I have low TP standards but this TP did not wow me. I did find it to be thicker which I'm not sure I really liked. I prefer a softer feeling paper. On an average day I don't think thick TP would be worth paying extra for. My wife- who does use more TP than me said she liked it overall, but agreed that it was nothing special and won't be changing our toilet paper habits anytime soon. "Bottom" line...it's not bad TP, it just isn't for me.
