[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i got my free Charmin ultra strong free in the mail, i was excited to see just how good it really was. I can honestly say that it does live up to the name by being quite strong. Many toilet paper brands tear halfway through a sheet, where Charmin Ultra Strong does not. It does also seem to be more absorbant than your typical toilet paper. The person who will not prefer this is one who likes a soft toilet paper, as this is certainly quite abrasive. The softness is the only real detractor in my opinion, although it is advertised as a strong toilet paper, not a soft one. I won't personally complain because I got mine free through bzzagent.

It does not have the "belts" that Cottonelle has that I like, but don't let that hold you back. It does a fine job of detailing and you won't need to use as many sheets. The bears welcome you to try it. They should definitely consider adding the durability belts -- think of the paper as analogous to automobile tires -- you add strength belts to those radials, so why not here as well? Then the whole family will rejoice and have a cleaner experience. Otherwise the designs on these are excellent. I would just like the added assurance of the belts. So maybe we should put in a good word and see what the bears come up with next time? You can start them on that path by picking up some of the Ultra Strong product today!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a man, this campaign was a little weird for me because it is difficult to talk to other men about toilet paper since we really don’t care as long as is does the job. That being said, I personally liked the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper. I thought it was softer and stronger than the previous brand my wife usually purchases. Since Charmin Ultra Strong is stronger and more absorbant, I found that I was using less of it, which my wife really liked because she said she was saving money in the long run. Another plus for me is the Charmin Ultra Strong did not clog the toilet and was septic friendly. After we used all the Charmin Ultra Strong that we received to try, my wife has been purchasing Charmin Ultra Strong for our home ever since.

They asked if we were getting better paper and I told them how I replaced the roll and asked how they liked it. They all thought it was great, not too many details were given out since you don't really talk about that kind of stuff at our firehouse, but overall, I got a sense that they liked it!

It rips, it tears...it is generally just a pain and you end up balling 5 times as many sheets together just to make it work without a mishap. Enter Charmin ultra strong, a real toilet paper for someone like myself. Not only is it super strong, it maintains a soft touch at the same time. In my opinion, if you are looking for a strong, high quality TP, try Charmin Ultra Strong and you won't be disappointed.

I don't find Charmin Ultra to be a comfortable or exceptionally novel product and isn't something I would buy. I tend to use a much softer product and generally store brand is just fine so I expected a much different experience with a name brand and the concept of "ultra". Sadly, this was a disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was never fully satisfied with my previous toilet paper, as of it was kind of thin. Then I met Charmin Ultra Strong. All I'm going to say, is that Ultra Strong is just amazing. It's strong, thick, and yet so soft. You'd think that for something like toilet paper, it would only stay in the private kingdom. But, I tried it and after being satisfied, I brought out a new roll and showed it to my husband. And boy was he amazed! Afterwards we switched to Charmin Ultra Strong because we felt as if we needed to. I mean, why stick with your current one if there is a better one out there? I would definitely recommend this to others. Charmin Ultra Strong is durable, strong, and soft. My previous one was terrible, and was pretty much the opposite of it.

This usually means it's private store brand or some off brand that no one has ever heard of. The rationale behind this is that toilet paper is a commodity and a cheap one at that. Therefore, why spend extra for toilet paper that is ultimately going to be flushed down the toilet anyway? Lo and behold, Charmin Ultra Strong comes in to the scene to take on all challengers. The packaging said that we would use less...which I scoffed as marketing guffaw. One quick feel of a square and I was less skeptical. This was indeed a thick and absorbent feeling square of toilet paper, but only one way to find out...on the white porcelain throne. After dropping off the kids at school, I proceeded to test the goods...color me impressed. Less squares, higher efficiency rate...I'm sold!

However, another user who likes softer toilet paper did not think it was as good. For some this will be a good product, but you will have to judge if it's soft enough for them.

We typically love Charmin products, but we won't likely be purchasing or recommending this one. Perhaps it would be perfect for someone who is an aggressive toilet paper user, but for anyone with a slight sensitivity, this paper is not for them. To be fair, my family typically uses Ultra Soft by Charmin, and this is not the purpose of this toilet paper. Other than being rough, I'm not sure what is so strong about it.
