We've been purchasing Charmin for many, many years now, but this last purchase beats the band. We bought (2# 12 pack double rolls #24 total) and every single roll looks like it was cut with a very dull chainsaw. What happened to your Q.C.? There are shards of paper everywhere, especially where you don't want shards of paper. Totally dissappointed. I felt store return would not be fair, because this is definately not the store's fault. Do I want softness,that shreds into balls all over me or do I want a stronger and rougher texture which is sometimes just too rough? Well,I have finally met my perfect match when it comes to my toilet paper. New Charmin Ultra Strong is extremely soft,tough, and guess what? It does not shred at all. I love it so much,my entire household has changed what they now purchase as well. It is just as the package says,soft and strong. We buy the Mega roll pack and each roll lasts about 5 times longer than our older brand! Strong,soft,and quite a value. You should try some now. You will never go back to your old brand again.

I was pleasently surprised by how soft, yet durable Charmin Ultra Strong was. I can honestly say that I will not go back to using Scott! I'm Ultra Strong!!

We might give a slight edge to Cottonelle for softness or maybe that's what were used to. Either way they were very close and both very effective. No rip throughs. No cling ons. No dust.

The paper want super soft but was definitely strong as it claims. I noticed that I would use less paper dude to the great quality. Even though it was a little smaller in sizes I would definitely purchase the Charmin Ultra Strong because of its quality.
