It is much softer than the other brands. I have been very picky about my toliet paper. You onoy need like 3 sheets. And holds up really good.

It is America's #1 toilet paper brand, which has partnered with Roto-Rooter, which is the largest provider of plumbing & drain services and they have stated that Charmin is a Clog FREE toilet paper(and Charmin is backing that or its FREE). Charmin Ultra Strong is a superior product. There is no need to worry about ripping of the paper or large amounts of paper needed. I love Charmin Ultra and highly recommend it.

All of our bodies have the same functions, and using toilet paper is something that we ALL do. So why not talk about our thoughts on different toilet products? The Charmin Ultra Strong was exactly what my body has been needing. Coming from another name-brand company that was of a similar texture to paper towel (or tougher), namely because it lasted longer in a large household. In comes the Charmin Ultra which is super soft (but not too soft), and more importantly, long lasting! I absolutely suggest, no, I DARE you to set aside your current toilet paper brand and give the Charmin a try. I promise you won't be disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was delighted to try Charmin Ultra Strong through participation in a BzzAgent Campaign when it was offered for free. I was a little skeptical at first because I already have a brand I'm loyal to. In the past, I've found that buying toilet paper always meant choosing between two camps: toilet paper that is soft and doesn't feel rough or abrasive on your bum, or toilet paper that's strong and doesn't break or leave pieces behind. I received four rolls from BzzAgent. I put one in my bathroom, and one in my husband's bathroom. I told him I was trying out a new toilet paper product for BzzAgent, but didn't let on what the product was reported to do. I have to say, I noticed a difference right away when trying Charmin Ultra Strong. It was comfortable to use, and did it's job! I also used some TP pieces to adjust my makeup (something I typically do) and I found that it cleaned up my makeup really nicely and didn't irritate my facial skin. My husband isn't a terribly observant consumer, but he did say after a day or two that he appreciated that the toilet paper was strong without being scratchy. He also liked that though it's a thicker paper, the roll had a lot of toilet paper on it. In the past we've gotten thicker paper, only to find that we empty the roll in 1/2 of the time we'd get from an alternative roll. Yesterday I gave my two remaining rolls of Charmin Ultra Strong to two of my friends. I explained how I got them from BzzAgent and asked them to share their opinions of it with me -- and I promised to share my thoughts after hearing theirs. I will definitely be buying Charmin Ultra Strong the next time I need to buy toilet paper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family and I tried the new Charmin pack of toilet paper that was sent to us in the bzz kit and I have to say I was kind of let down. We primarily use Scott toilet tissue, which I would say serves our needs just fine. We do tend to overuse it though each time. When we started to use the new Charmin roll I had to admit that we had a preconceived notion that Charmin is ultra soft and that you have to be very careful at how much you throw in the toilet or you risk clogging it up. When we opened the pack right away I noticed that it wasn't very soft. It was softer than the Scott's, but it wasn't significantly different. Also, the roll seems like it is a lot smaller. Even though out of the pack it looks like it is the same size, I guess the thickness of the sheets actually make the roll last maybe half as long. The 4-pack was gone so fast that had I used regular Scott's I might have still been on my first roll. Overall, the toilet paper is of a higher quality than I am used to, but based on how fast the roll was finished and the cost I am most likely not going to purchase this especially with young kids who like to waste the roll.

I will continue to use this product! The relative strength and this ability to use less each "sitting" (excuse the pun) make it a worthwhile slightly higher cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pretty excited to try the Charmin ultra strong. My girlfriend buys toilet paper by the single roll & it is never soft! I thought finally this would be soft and comforting. well it is very soft I will say that. But the roll did not last long at all. Actually the whole 4 pack lasted about as long as one single roll of our usual brand...which although its not so soft...its not to rough either. With 4 kids in the house we tend to go through toilet paper pretty quick to begin with so I prefer to have something mediocre that lasts versus good quality paper.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This feels great and is very comfortable to use. Certainly a product I would purchase when in need. The pieces seem almost too thick, but that is certainly a great thing considering what you are using it for. It is comfortable to use and protects your hands. It also feels comfortable to blow you nose if you don't have tissues nearby.

Loved it cuz it WAS soft & strong! Since you've changed it, it's no longer soft nor strong; Now it shreds, leaving "lint" behind & when wet, I've put my fingers thru it multiple times. Why must manufacturers mess with such a good thing?? I changed to Charmin because my former brand did the weak & shred thing. Now Charmin is doing it, too, and I'm stuck with a large bundle of it that I'm EXTREMELY UNHAPPY with.

But the truth is that I have a cold and since this arrived on time I used it for my nose and it could not have come at a better time. Things I like is that I am actually changing my current TP for the Charming Ultra Strong, I don't have to use too much of it, and I will find it where I shop. The main thing that I like I about this toilet paper is that it does not have too much lint residue. I strongly recommend it.
