Charmin doesn't leave paper residue behind like the cheap stuff and feels so much more soft. I don't feel like I need to take a shower after using Charmin! Well worth paying a little extra for.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this tissue paper. I dont even have to buy kleenex anymore because my toilet paper is soft enough to use. It is comfortable. I know that is not what the purpose of the paper is, but i felt it was important to mention.

The product is excelent but why would you reduce the width to under 4 inches,to save money? With a spring loaded paper holder attached to the wall ,the narrow product causes the spring to bow and fall off paper and all. Also the dimensions on the packaging are deliberatly confusing multi language etc. so unless we carry a ruller to the store we cant avoid the silly narrow paper. How about 4 inches plus wide paper and clear english on packaging?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a pack of 4 rolls of the Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper to try free through bzzAgent. I've been using Cottonelle and I never like to try new TP, so this was a good opportunity for me to try something new. This is definitely a winner. It doesn't dissolve and you don't have to use as much. Its very strong, just like the name. I like that I can use it as a tissue and it doesn't shred on my face, either. I think I will be switching to this brand from now on. I will warn that it is not as soft as some of the other things I have used before. That doesn't bother me, because having something strong is more important to me than having something soft.

I've used Charmin MANY times at other houses in past years... it ALWAYS is weak and tears and shreds, and I don't like using toilet paper that lets my fingers go through it. I prefer Northern or Marina or MD brands.. they don't tear and have nice texture. Charmin IS soft (and the bears are cute), but it doesn't hold up.

I was surprised at how soft it was compared to my normal band. It also seem like less paper was used die to it being more asorbent, I went out on my next shopping trip and bought a big packet of charmin. This will diffently be my new tissue of choice going forward

I've tried using fewer sheets but with my habits, that hasn't really changed. So the promise of using less really hasn't panned out. But it is a more pleasant experience. The general softness, etc was a bigger difference than I anticipated.
