[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper is very strong, resists tearing when in use, more so than some other products I've used. It not as soft though. I guess there's a tradeoff between strength and softness. Personally I lean toward strength.

My first impression of this Charmin Ultra Strong was "wow, it sure is thick". My wife and I both felt that the rolls wouldn't last as long due to the thickness and there being less length on the roll. I was surprised to see how long the roll actually lasted. We are on roll #1 still; the jury is out as to what my final impression is it but so far so good.

I didn't buy charmin before because it was normally a little more pricier. After a week my family and I have only gone through two rolsl, as for the other brand it we would of been on our third at least. It's really soft, but durable. I highly recommend it.

I am a loyal Cottonelle user and after trying Charmin Ultra strong I am a convert. Don't let the name Ultra Strong confuse you. Although this toilet paper is Ultra Strong it is still soft and gentle to use. I will be purchasing this product from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One would think that toilet paper wouldn't be significant, however, using single ply toilet paper versus Charmin Ultra Strong will quickly let you know that you truly get what you pay for. The ply is the perfect strength and is markedly soft on the areas of your body that needs tender loving care. This product comes highly recommended and will withstand even the toughest situations in the restroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first picked up a roll of Charmin Ultra Strong, I could tell it was not our normal toilet paper. It felt sturdy, even though it was only one ply it still felt thicker and stronger then other two ply toilet papers. Not only was it strong but it still had that soft feeling to it. You could tell that this was not some cheap middle or nowhere gas station toilet paper. This was toilet paper that was worth using. Now it is not without its down side however. Being that it is stronger and thicker it does not have as mush bendability as some of the thinner toilet papers out there. It seems to want to fold on the perforations naturally so if you try to fold say three sheets in half you have to make a crease in the middle sheet. However, this is a minor thing and I would still use Charmin Ultra Strong every day over other brands.

My throne is my favorite place to read which, means having a strong paper that keeps my bum clean all the time. Don't leave the grocery store without it. Insist on Ultra Strong from Charmin. When I go shopping my wife, she only wants to use Ultra Strong as will!

Being that it is a major brand who's claim to fame is that of being soft. Although it does stand up and did not just tear too easily. So in that aspect it is a strong tool, just maybe not the softest. However, the soft stuff is not this strong.
